- ABAbigail Bourne2 days ago5.0Thank you to Clarice for making our stay at premier inn so lovely. She was extremely accommodating, even remembered I asked for vegan sausages on the first day and asked me before I had to on the second day. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Finally stopped just after 10pm however woke me up at 4am and then 6am (now Sunday so really not impressed), when I decided to give up trying to sleep again. Asked at front desk about good night guarantee and apparently its handled by head office now - so will never be stopping in this Premier Inn again as don't believe they will honour the guarantee as I certainly didn't get a good night's sleep.

From our arrival at 11 pm on 10th May 2026 to our departure Tuesday 12 th the staff could not have been more compassionate, professional and so very kind. From the reception team Sean,Ami and Jack ensuring our rooms were near to each other as we had a disabled person with us and even helping me to book the accessible room to the restaurant staff Hannah, Gracie to the lovely manager Cathrine who helped in so many ways. The chef and his staff were suddenly presented with 12 tired, sad and hungry people, he managed wonderful hot and tasty meals. I would never had guessed he had only been in post for a week .What a star ! This enabled us to share some much needed respite together before we all had to split up and return home. We use Premier inn all the time because of their accessibility facilities and carers room, and on-site restaurants. We were literally a five minute walk from Derby Hospital which was ideal. We have already booked into a Premier inn for the funeral later this month. From the bottom of my family’s heart we thank them all and the housekeeper of course for going above and beyond making our stay comfortable. Thank you Derby west hotel staff.
