  This is not a typical premier inn. No restaurant, no breakfast (just a stale croissant left at reception). Not enough irons for everyone , towels are threadbare. Rooms are tired and need updating. Only good thing is the staff - very friendly and apologetic.

  I had a good stay here - the hotel was clean, the bed was as comfortable and it’s a brilliant location to access central Derby. No issue parking. Alex was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which is what you need after a long journey.

  Absolute nightmare with their parking enforcement. I stayed here for three days during a significant family matter. I registered my car properly for parking and whilst staying there received word that people were looking for me. Because of this I put a private plate on my car and didn't even think about the parking system. A charge was sent to me from Premier Inn via horizon. I submitted extremely clear evidence and date / time proof of everything - including the DVLA records of me swapping the number plate. I also sent proof of my blue badge. Long story short, I'm getting automated replies not even referencing what I'm saying, demands for payment and an online portal which is telling me the outstanding balance is £0 which I guarantee will not be the case when the reduced payment window expires. Reception staff couldn't give a crap either - told me they can't cancel it or help in any way Absolutely shocking service from a company I paid over £100 a night whilst trying to keep myself safe.

  Usual Premier Inn standard, very clean and well-maintained, hotel well placed for taxis into Central Derby. Emma on Reception very helpful and friendly, a credit to the company. I have stayed several times, never a problem. Pity the restaurant has gone, and the breakfast at present is an inadequate offering, but there's a Costa just a short walk away. Understand it's a temporary situation anyway.

  I had a really lovely stay I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism throughout my stay. They were always available at the front desk and happy to help with anything I needed, which made me feel very welcome and well looked after. Especially the sweet lady at the reception desk. I also really appreciated their flexibility in allowing me to have a late checkout The hotel was very clean and well maintained as well.Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel, Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable
