  Let’s start with the good points ….. great close to the city centre and plenty to do. As a family we have started in many premier inns on little weekends away and this one has left us disappointed. You will see in the photos I’m adding the travel cot they provided expecting my 1 year old to sleep in was filthy and unsafe sleeping equipment it was shocking brown stains, blue stains , holes in the bottom and mesh and the mattress ……. Wasn’t even a mattress and to top it off (not that I would have used it) the blanket they provided was still wet. The fact this travel cot is even being put into rooms is a disgrace no baby should be put in this. The cleanliness of this hotel for children is horrendous the high chairs at breakfast were disgusting we managed to find the spray and give it a proper clean but I am shocked by the standards. We usually choose premier inn because it’s reliable and you know what your getting. I do not recommend this hotel for families especially with small children .

  Stayed here for one night 5th July 2026. The room was good but lacked the odd feature but for one night it did the job. I was worried about the bed bug issue. But from when I arrived I had a very kind manager named Pat who came to my room to check for them. Which put my mind at rest. The was also a young man on the reception desk who was kind but I didn't get his name. After the service I received here I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you.

  Stayed here for work for 2 nights, hotel is very nice to be fair, staff was very nice and helpful! Rooms was good, I have 2 windows, 1 was the buss station and other was view of the lake. Couldn’t hear busses at all! Rooms do have air con which works amazing!! Very good size rooms and bathroom. Only thing to let it down was the low pressure shower! We had drinks and had food 1st night which was good. Now parking is a problem as it don’t offer any at all but there’s a good few parking areas very close by (5mins walk) it’s very cheap!

  Paid extra and Booked a river room veiw Once checked in room(301) was directly next to a lift that had voice notifications which could clearly be heard all night. Staff moved us to another room but had no view . I requested a partial refund £10 as we didn't get the view for the extra and were refused . Also bed sheets in both rooms smelt and both shower rails were broken . Holiday in is right next door were are friends stayed and there room was excellent **update** I wrote this review after speaking with customer services who refused the £10 difference refund.
