Warning. Think Twice Before Booking This Hotel We stayed at this hotel for three nights, with a booking for two rooms including breakfast. For the first two mornings, we were welcomed by a very pleasant female member of staff. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was very helpful and professional. However, on the third morning, we encountered a staff member named Lorraine, and this is when the problem started. Lorraine told us that the booking showed two types of breakfast for one room, and therefore only the guests staying in one room were entitled to breakfast. She insisted that the guests staying in the second room would have to pay separately. We explained our booking to her several times and tried to clarify the situation, but she refused to listen or understand what we were telling her. The issue was created by the way Lorraine interpreted and handled the booking, and instead of trying to resolve it calmly, she became extremely aggressive towards us. We asked whether there was another member of staff or a manager we could speak to, but she told us, in an aggressive manner, that she was the person we had to deal with. The way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable and left us feeling humiliated and disrespected. We were simply trying to enjoy our breakfast and resolve a straightforward issue, but Lorraine's attitude turned it into an unnecessary confrontation. I will be making an official complaint to Whitbread PLC, the parent company, and I expect them to investigate how this situation was handled and the way we were treated. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this hotel reads the negative reviews carefully before making a booking. Don't rely only on the positive feedback. I would not want anyone else to experience the same humiliation and disrespect that we experienced. I would also like to point out that the hotel appeared to be seriously understaffed. The staff seemed to be under considerable pressure, and there did not appear to be enough employees to properly manage the number of guests. Overall, a very disappointing experience, mainly because of the way Lorraine handled the situation and spoke to us.

Good hotel close to everything. Very clean and spacious apartments. The only downfall that out the back it was really dirty and so much rubbish everywhere.
