  Excellent location, near car park, bars and restaurants. The welcome at reception was warm, friendly and very helpful. The bedrooms- as always, were clean and comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stay. I would definitely stay here again.

  We stayed here for three nights to visit local attractions including Chatsworth and Hardwick. The Premier Inn is very close to a nunnery of car parks, including one with shutters, 24h CCTV etc. We didn't have any problems parking within 2 minutes of the hotel, which was great. The hotel is a little hard to find as it doesn't have a ground floor lobby, but the sign is very obvious once you get closer. Check in was very quick and within 5 minutes of arriving, we were back downstairs getting some food. We ate in the restaurant on our first night for ease. Food was tasty and staff were polite and helpful. During our visit there was a large group in, possibly from a work event. Despite this group being quite loud and ordering a lot of drinks at the bar, staff were great, kept their cool and had our food out to us in good time. Our bedroom was as expected, clean and comfy with a good shower. We didn't hear anything from our room so slept very well. We had breakfast every day of our stay... and it might be the best Premier Inn breakfast we've ever had. Staff seated us quickly and checked for allergies every morning. Soya and oat milk were also out without needing to request them - a great help! There was plenty of hot food, and it was frequently replenished. Sausages and bacon were cook throughly and exactly as you'd want for breakfast - no barely browned sausages here! Continental options were also replenished frequently and were very tasty. Check out was very easy. If we come back to Chesterfield, we'd 100% stay here again. Thanks!

  Had a lovely overnight stay in this hotel, clean and comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff especially Sue, Amanda and Lydia who decorated my room with balloons, banners and even a bottle of bubbly as it was my 70th birthday. Thank you girls I was very touched. The breakfast was excellent. This hotel is in a perfect location for a night out in the market town of Chesterfield.
