  We stayed here using a Wowcher voucher for 2 nights B&B and 1 dinner with wine, we checked in with a cheerful friendly receptionist, booked dinner for 7pm. We reviewed the menu of our phones from the qr code on the welcome letter, and logged into their WiFi. We changed and went to dinner in the open plan resturant/breakfast area opposite reception. It was all bright and model, if perhaps a little too bright and to much echo for an evening meal setting. A waitress Macie greeted us and we chose a table with sofa style seats by the room divider as there was a big party in the other section. She offered us table service and was very friendly and efficient. The food was beautifully prepared and presented without a long wait. We shared a jerk chicken skewers starter. I had fabulous mixed grill and Anne had steak and salad, we shared a white chocolate cherry and icecream blondie. Very satisfying all round they have set the bar high for us not to eat here tomorrow. The location is great for the retail outlets and for scenic gems like White Edge overlooking Hope Valley We stayed a second night, breakfast we fine, exactly what we wanted cerials to start cooked breakfast to follow, it set us up for the day. After a full day with a few snacks we returned about 7.30 went straight to restaurant we were met by Macie, who showed us to a table, we actually just had two starters, we both had the soup and then the mushrooms and prawn cocktail. Service was swift anf friendly, we were presented with the bill by a charming young girl who told us she had just started Front of House, she had a lovely smile and was very friendly. We look forward to another peaceful night, despite the proximity of the M1 there is hardly any sound even with window open

  I stayed in the hotel for one night. The hotel is very nice, clean and is just right next to M1. The room is very clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable. Also the service is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank for Chloe 😊

  I chose this hotel for a mini break, whilst visiting the East Midlands Designer Village. On arrival, i was greeted with a warm welcome. Even though i was early i was able to be checked into my room. The room was clean, fresh and spacious.The food was delicious and piping hot and a good choice was available. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you to all the staff that made my stay memorable.

  Can’t fault it. I was hesitant to stay here as a hotel off the M1 would not be my first choice (!) but it was very convenient and I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole hotel was immaculately presented. Room was spotlessly clean: comfy bed, nice big bathroom, nice toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers! A/C worked well but the noise from the motorway was pretty quiet so I could have the window open. I have to mention the staff in the restaurant who were absolutely lovely and the food was really good, both for dinner and breakfast. I’d stay here again if I was in the area. Heaps better than more expensive places I’ve stayed at nearby. Fab experience.

  The most caring staff and comfortable beds! From the moment I checked in flustered after having a bad day and barely any sleep after a nightmare experience with an airbnb, Dayna & Roy made me feel so much better, welcomed and understood. I explained how I was simply trying to raise money towards a funeral by doing my motocross photography work for free this weekend for someone who had taken their own life's family towards the funeral etc and how it was going so wrong. Dayna literally went above and beyond from changing my room to one with a fridge so my food wouldn't spoil, to helping me carry my multiple bags upstairs. I looked across and saw the Andy's Man Club charity display and tried to control me starting to sob because it felt like some kind of sign. As if Adam was giving me the nod as if to say "Thank you for looking out for my girls". The room was exceptionally clean, the air conditioning divine and the bed immensely comfortable. Dinner was tasty too but unfortunately cold already by the time I got it upstairs, but the flavours were still delicious!
