- NHNeil HollowellJun 15, 20264.0Just a normal Premier Inn Hotel. Set just on the outskirts of the town. Rooms were clean. The staff i met and dealt with on my visit were very very friendly. Knowledgeable in there job.
- JCJulia CliffordMay 26, 20261.0Service very slow and staff not very pleasant, as if they could not be bothered, even though it was not busy. To top it of received a parking fine . Would not expect a pub to charge parking g to eat their restaurant.

Already looking for alternative accommodation for our numerous visits to Darlington. I know it's nothing to Whitbread, but it's good for my conscience.
- MRMatt RogersonMay 7, 20261.01st room smelt overpoweringly of damp / mould in the bathroom - but i arrived at 1am and couldn't face trying to find somwhere else / moving rooms. Asked to move to another room for the second night but that room smelt unclean / damp / stale smoke. Left and booked elsewhere. All the staff were very helpful & positive - good team. May need a louder bell for those arriving late - when i checked in at 1am it took multiple tries to get somone to come to the door. Location is convenient i guess - but it is not somewhere you travel to for the hotel location.
- SMSean MMay 5, 20264.0Didn't stay at the hotel - this review is for breakfast only Called in for their Unlimited Cooked Breakfast which, in my view, is brilliant value at £10.99 for all you can eat. Choice includes sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, black pudding, fried tomatoes and hash browns. As part of this deal you get access to the continental breakfast also, though (apart from a pain au Chocolat) I didn't bother. Unlimited drinks include tea, coffee, orange, apple or cranberry juices.
