  Was upgraded to a suite, however the AC system was not working. After advising we were moved to another functioning room. There's very little/no welcoming at arrival. Room 212 is below average. Not recommended.

  My husband and I have just returned from the best getaway for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Having stayed previously we knew this was the right location to celebrate and when we arrived to be told we had been upgraded to a beautiful suite, we were completely overjoyed! There was a message waiting for us on the mirror which was a lovely touch and the room was incredible. I will never forget the stunning views from the wraparound balcony, where we enjoyed our breakfast, drinks, and complete relaxation. I was emotional to say the least and did not want to leave. We were obsessed with the aroma around the hotel, everywhere was immaculate and beautiful. The staff were amazing and I honestly could not fault anything about our stay. Thank you for making our anniversary incredibly special. We can’t wait to come back soon 💕

  First thing first . The young reception girl upon arrival was extremely helpful and informative. The hostess staff at the bar and breakfast were also exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great start to our 4 days at this Five Star hotel . From there it was extremely disappointing !! Only one lift working for general use . You could use the lift to t he spa , pool area but not convenient at all and not able to get luggage and 2 people in it . Most people I encounter were just frustrated with the 1 lift operating . There appeared to be no action being taken to bring it back to service . Probably switched off . If you arrive in your own or hire car , be prepared for an exorbitant cost to park per day . If your not parked by about 4 pm forget trying to get parked . There were places reserved for " staff " which i did confirm with the night reception people and they would not remove the bollards . Both hotel managers also had their reserved locations . I was told to park in an electric charging space which I thought was very unfair to others trying to recharge their vehicles. Each day we were out around 8.30 am and placed the tag on the door indicating the same for service . Upon return at 3.45 pm on the 2nd day , no room service . After going to reception and asking it was sort of done by some one who did not want to be there . No replaced tea , coffee etc . The photo attached shows how he made the bed . This is NOT a 5 star hotel at present . Please goggle to meaning of 5 Star accommodation and then compare it to this hotel . The balcony was dirty , uninviting and no chairs or a table to sit out side to enjoy the view . Photos attached. There had been no external cleaning of windows etc and in the main lift and foyers there had no been no cleaning or even a wipe down of surfaces for the 4 days I stayed here. Generally very poor overall experience. Look around before paying the over rated cost of staying here . Location and the food staff only saved this hotel at present . As a side note I am a IHG hotel member and have travelled 4 different countries using the branded hotel accommodation. This will be certainly referred to IHG for their review . The worst I have stayed in .

  Wir können absolut nur Gutes über dieses Hotel sagen!! Es ist sehr sauber, der Empfang und der Service sind freundlich und es fehlt einem an nichts! Unser Zimmer war traumhaft, aber man sollte sich in nächster Zeit der Renovierung des Badezimmers widmen (haben auch son andere geschrieben), weil hier doch zum Teil schon sehr der Zahn der Zeit genagt hat! Das morgendliche Kidsbuffet und der Kinderspielraum sind ein Traum für uns Eltern, weil die Kinder sich so auch gut im Urlaub beschäftigen können (und wir können sogar einen Kaffee im Kinderzimmer bekommen)! Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar und man sehr viel Freizeitliches und Kulturelles in der direkten Umgebung zu Fuß erreichen! Für den Leerstand und den Zustand der umliegenden Häuser kann man schlecht dem Hotel anlasten und sollte es auch nicht tun! Erwähnenswert ist noch der etwas kleine Parkplatz, der direkt zum Hotel gehört und seelig, wer dort einen Parkplatz nutzen kann. Ansonsten muss man nebenan parken und dort bezahlen (nicht über das Hotel)! Zwei Personen möchten wir hier noch besonders danken: Ambra am Empfang für Ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft (Danke für die Kekse für unsere Kinder) und Danielle für das Kinder-Event mit Massagen, Schleim-/ und Cocktailmachen sowie die Cupcakes und vieles mehr (Bitte macht weiterhin solche Veranstaltungen, denn unsere Kinder haben es geliebt)!! Der Pool und der Sa-Bereich sind ebenfalls traumhaft! Dieses Hotel ist enorm Familienfreundlich!!

  Not really 5 star. The state of the rooms are old and messy. My bathroom tub leaked water everytime I showered. My phone in the room didn’t work and couldn’t contact anyone in reception tried externally. I was only given 2 towels instead of the 3 as there are 3 of us. Again tried getting an extra towel might as well should have got it from ASDA. We had 2 rooms booked the other room tried to call reception no one answered ever. The lifts broke down everyday (I got stuck in it once). Spoke to manager with all issues at the end and he knocked off the extra charges for compensation. I still paid the full room prices for an average 3 star hotel.
