Ok first off the negatives, upon arriving 12pm, we took our bags to the hotel to leave them in there storage area as general check in is 3pm. Upon arriving at the hotel, the main entrance was quite underwealming, almost making us think the small entrance was just a side entrance.
Anyway, upon entering, inside was nuce enough. We approached the receptionist who was a polish lady I belive, and I just said we had a reservation and she just looked at me gormless, and not one inviting smile as I approached or as I started to speak to her. She just said in a very monotone way "check in is 3pm" then just stopped and stared at me with no offer of any other help or to check the system in case our room was ready and if so maybe we could of paid the fee to check-in early. She didn't even say we could leave our bags while we waited for checkin, so I had to look at her un happy smile and ask about the bags, luckily a male worker who wore glasses called from a side room and had a genuine smile, I said to him that I was glad someone was helpful and had a welcoming smile. He took our bags abd gave us receipts, leaving us time to explore the town and grab lunch.
Later, we checked in and thankfully another lady was on reception who had a smile and was helpful.
We checked in and went to our premier plus room with a view, this is on 15th floor and was room 1504. The room was nice enough and bed was comfortable at night and view was decent. Only let down, in our opinion was that there was no real storage apart from a small open rail to hang a few clothes on hangers. For a couple of nights it is fine but a bit extra storage would no go amiss. Also, a clock in room would be nice.
Lifts to the rooms and back to ground floor were very quick and we were impressed.
Breakfast was a little bit of a let down for the price. The fried eggs were just like rubber, the bacon was a little dry, the has browns and black pooping were flavourless and dry, like they had been sitting there under a heat lamp for ages. And be were sonewgat early for breakfast. The coffee was decent though. We also had dinner pre paid as part of the meal deal. The meals were really decent and the second night we ordered the pizza, which felt and tasted fresh and was really good. Maria who served us the 2nd night was lovely and we felt like we mattered.
Overall apart from the lady initially on reception with no real communication skills or customer service skills, and the breakfast, everything else was good and worth the money spent.

Great service from Aditya, went above all to accommodate my fussy food preferences and he was really helpful and friendly.
The lady serving didn't seem so enthusiastic or as welcoming, but maybe she had a bad day.
Room LED light above headboard is nice, side table is dusty and floor could do with a hoover, towel has holes in could do with replacing but bed is comfortable.
Good stay.

For a Premier Inn, the rooms are great, tea & coffee facilities are available in the room, it’s only 5 mins walk from the station. The only downside is that even if I had breakfast included, I have only been offered the choice of having breakfast at 6:30 am or at 10:00 am … when I was looking to walk in freely around 8:00 am… I do understand that spaces are limited, but I have never been asked that before and it’s not ideal
