Parking is a pain. We arrived when there was a concert on so very busy, and it took nearly an hour to do 5 miles. The car park they recommend is 3 minutes a walk away. That said, hotel is lovely and quirky. It is a bit of maze built across 2 blocks and bridging corridors not on every floor. So you go only get to the rooftop restaurant on one set of lifts. The other set get you to fitness rooms but not the restaurant. Once you get your head round it, it is easy. The rooftop bar is amazing with some great views over the city. We eat there and the food was very very good. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. The ksralan curry was also very good. The fitness room is ok it has modern machines, 2 bikes, 2 cross fit, 3 running but limited weight options, a multiweight puller thing and a set of individual weights. The hotel is right in the middle of the city and ideally placed for exploring it.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's in an excellent location, and every member of staff was welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. If you prefer a quieter room, it's worth asking at check-in, especially if you arrive early. The gym is well-equipped with everything needed for a good workout. The rooftop restaurant and bar served delicious food in a great atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
one of the best hotels we have stayed in. If I had any complaints it would be that the TV is too low lol

Great all around hotel with unique rooms and a stunning reception area. Close to everything and pretty quiet 🤫
You are best to park in the NCP car park off Greyfriars Road. It's currently £34 for 24 hours but once you register at the hotel you are given a code to reduce this by 50%. When leaving the car park on foot, head left and turn left into Greyfriars Place. As the road bends, go right as you can enter the Dominions Arcade where the Indigo Hotel reception can be accessed, there are two worn out flags to indicate the hotel name. The hotel itself was clean and modern and I was given a complimentary room upgrade which was really nice. There was no noise despite the location and the bed was comfortable albeit smaller than some other hotel chains provide as standard. The only thing that let it down was the rooftop bar and restaurant. It was a lovely afternoon but it didn't open until 5pm even for drinks and when it did open it sadly lacked any atmosphere. They also didn't have all the ingredients for some cocktails they listed. The outside area was very limited and could do with a makeover so it compliments the otherwise modern interior. Most guests had one drink and then left and I didn't see anyone order food. Breakfast was also disappointing. Whilst there were three staff trying to seat guests they seemed very disorganised and not one said Good Morning on your arrival or acknowledged guests when they left. The bacon was really greasy and the sausages very overdone so I was glad I didn't eat in the hotel the night before if they couldn't manage the basics. It's a shame as the hotel receptionist was so welcoming and the location was ideal, but to encourage returning guests, these few issues need to be addressed.
