I will never stay at this hotel again. I was on the 1st floor and from around 8pm until 2am there was constant banging, stomping, heavy walking and noise coming from the room above. It was impossible to relax or sleep.
I reported the issue twice to the night staff, first at around 11:30pm and again at 1am and absolutely nothing was done. The noise continued for hours with no intervention, no follow-up, and no attempt to resolve the situation. It then started again at 6:30am the following morning.
What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of accountability. I had to chase the issue again in the morning myself, only to be told the only option was to call customer service. No apology, no ownership, and no resolution after an entire night of disruption.
If you want a peaceful, quiet, or restful stay, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel

Smashing location, parking on site for a few. Check in really easy with very helpful real people Danni, Rach & Yann could not have been more helpful. Very clean, smart and well cared for set up.

Room is very small and basic. Currently we overlook a building site and brick wall next door. Sea rooms are a large increase 🙄. Lovely view from the restaurant, the food was great, and staff are very hardworking and helpful. Special thumbs up 👍 to Rachel, Dani and Pete, for making our stay great. The room was clean and tidy and tea and coffee ☕️ supplies were readily available.
Wonderful stay overall. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working, which made the room very hot with no fresh air. However, Yann was extremely helpful and provided us with a fan for the first night, as the hotel was fully booked. The next morning, he quickly arranged for us to move to another room. We then enjoyed the rest of our two-night stay with working air conditioning and a lovely sea view. Thank you, Yann!
Stayed here on Friday 24th April (Newquay Seafront) and it was easily one of the worst Premier Inn experiences I’ve had.
We nearly tripped over a guest passed out drunk in the hallway, which raises serious concerns about safety and how the hotel is being managed. This wasn’t a one-off inconvenience — it set the tone for the whole stay.
The room itself was poorly prepared — only one towel provided for two adults, and the hairdryer repeatedly short-circuited when used. We reported this FOUR times and were dismissed each time until we showed video evidence, which is unacceptable.
Overall, the place felt poorly run, unresponsive, and at times unsafe. After raising a complaint, we were offered £36 as a “goodwill gesture,” which doesn’t come close to reflecting the experience.
Premier Inn is usually reliable, but this stay completely missed the mark. I won’t be returning to this location.
