5 star rating is for the staff who work like dogs. Especially the manager Tina, sho covers all areas of the hotel during her shift. We saw her servinf breakfast, front of house and also cleaning the rooms out. The woman is a machine and puts her all into her job, as do all the staff at Premier inn. The young girls who worked in the evening were always smiling anf helpful and amenable to our requests.
The hotel is clean and tidy. With the rooms also being clean and tidy. My room was spotless on arrival.
The breakfast is amazing with plenty of options, bacon and egg etc, cereals and fruit, the girls would warm up the pastries for everybody too. Hot drinks aplenty along with cold drinks.
We paid for the evening meal in our package. Food is similar to that in a local pub. The curry was nice. The steak was okay and generally food was okay but dont expect fresh food that is cooked from scratch. You are paying for basic food so dont expect anything else. The staff try their hardest to make it appealing on the plate.
If you pay for the evening meal expecting a free child's meal you need to be aware that their meal will be from the kids menu and they get one main meal from this, anything else is chargeable. You also get one drink with your meal. If you take a coffee that's your drink sorted.
Location wise, the hotel is situated on an industrial park and across from a housing estate. So dont expect views to die for but if you're on the ground floor facing Jewsons, you get an amazing sunset view if you're lucky to have sun. The hotels location is out of the way and around hours drive to St Ives etc. Its more suited to travellers who dont mind a drive out each day. However a 20 min walk and you're in Wadebridge. A small town with a Coop and Lidl and little cafes and eateries. They also have a Costa and some nice pubs. Walking back is a trek as it's mainly uphill (I'm over 50 and tubby).
Id say location let's this hotel down. Put this in a resort and it would be perfect.
Pat on the back for Tina and her team as they all work hard and deserve medals.

Room was nice, but we were spoken to in a very patronising and rude way by an older member of staff. Very unprofessional.

4 night stay with the family mainly to make use of the Aircon in the rooms during a hot spell. Room was is good condition and air conditioner was effective and quiet during the night. Staff we encountered were all great!
We had breakfast every morning and took advantage of the quiet earlier part of the serving. Sometimes the food was a bit dry but the chef was happy to make anything fresh if you asked them.
Good location for local attractions.

We were on holiday in the area and called in for breakfast which Premier Inn publicly advertise, no where does it say you must pre book.
The gentleman who came over to the stand at 8.55am where you wait to be seated was instantly rude, asked if we had pre paid and then went on to tell us he will struggle as he still has 80 more breakfasts to serve, he then went on to tell us he hasnt got a table of four, myself, my husband and two children. When there was plenty of available tables right next to us.
As a family we often use Premier Inns and never received such rude customer service before.

I would like to review the staff at Wadebridge. I had rung up 2 days ago to ask to book for breakfast was told we dont book just show up. I called the Premier directly not through the Premier line. When we arrived this morning we were told dont do walk ins in holiday season. Tina was amazing though she found us space at the bar apologised for Infornation we had been given. She and the other lady working were amazing I would stay here just to be served by Tina again
