  Very helpful staff, such a shame only premier Inn residents are allowed to use the pub now, meaning resident guests have to go elsewhere to have a drink or meal with family or friends making it no longer the perfect place to stay that it was

  Helpful staff , rooms are clean and a large car park . The breakfast was in the pub next door it was a buffet style . It was hot and tasty . only thing if you have mobility problems, there are a lot of steps and no lifts. Not a problem for us but something to bear in mind

  Always a great Premier Inn. It's a shame, that under Premier Inn's latest policy, that the great pub with awesome atmosphere has been changed to another, although decent, soulless Premier Inn only restaurant. This was a well used, busy pub frequented by locals and guests alike. Unfortunately no longer a shadow of it former self. A poor move

  A very pleasant and comfortable stay at Premier Inn St Austell during my Cornwall road trip. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring. The room was spacious, comfortable and tidy, with a particularly comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall check-in experience was smooth and hassle-free. The location was convenient for exploring St Austell and nearby attractions, including the Eden Project and the beautiful Cornish coastline. It also made a good base for my travels around Cornwall. Overall, a comfortable and reliable place to stay, offering good value for money. I would happily recommend Premier Inn St Austell to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable hotel while visiting Cornwall.

  Just stayed here for two nights for a local wedding. Premier inn staff are warm and welcoming, very friendly and good to get on with, both at reception and restaurant. Bed comfortable, room clean, showers good. A nice stay and perfect for our requirements. We had breakfasts and an evening meal, both more than adequate and worth the money. Tables must be booked and currently guests only. Only two niggles (not complaints), as you travel from reception and get to the further end of the building the corridor flooring gets very noisy, this also applies to the rooms, didnt wake us but may affect light sleepers. The restaurant looks quite dated and run down, but this is understandable with Whitbread closing their operations and the former pub becoming guests only. There is a fabulous cafe across the road as well which is well worth a try if you are in the area and after lunch.
