  Had a great stay here, nicely welcomed by Sarah D on reception , hassle free check in. Staff change and Kristelle took over , very polite also doubled up working in the restaurant served us there too and much quicker than other less busy premier inns we have recently stayed in (for perspective we have spent about 8 working weeks staying in Premier inns in past 3 months) the food was great (all fully cooked, wont name and shame the branch here) breakfast was great, the pastries were fresh and not tasting old (again wont name and shame branch) Becky was a gem, warm welcome and attentive to the whole room. These ladies made for a welcome break. Thank you.

  Couldn't fault the room itself, although did seem smaller to other Premier Plus rooms we have stayed in. The only fault we did have, was the duvet was quite heavy, and often found ourself in the middle of the night pulling the duvet up, but it wasn't like the duvet was too hot when on you, it just kept falling off bed. The location was excellent/ perfect for venturing around Cornwall, it is just off thr dual carriageway and Liskeard Town itself has the essentials needed for a holiday shop, Aldi, Morrisons and B&M within a few minutes. Definitely would recommend the hotel, we just used the hotel as a base for sleeping and showering, and spent the days out. Hotel was clean, loads of parking, staff were polite, helpful, friendly.   HI, We had a lovely time. Unfortunately we weren't able to visit certain areas due to being so hot. But we still had a great time and certain member of staff gave us a nice cooling place to take our guidedog in the shaded area's, to go swimming in a beautifully clean stream near Lanhydrock. Our dog had a wonderful time swimming. Like to say, every morning we really enjoyed going in for our breakfast, to be greeted by a lovely lady called Becky, who was one woman person, working on her own. Who gave us such warming welcoming greets as we walked throught the door. She's a credit at the Premier inn in Liskeard. Many thanks. 🐕‍🦺🐾🐾😊

  “Warm welcome and fairly quick to be seated, and the staff were friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, the service in the restaurant when ordering was disappointing. I was left waiting quite a while before anyone came to take my order, and after an even longer wait, I was told my order had been lost. This was especially frustrating as the restaurant didn’t seem particularly busy at the time. That said, the staff did apologise and offered a free pint, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Food was decent once it arrived, but overall the experience was let down by the poor organisation.”

  The worst Premier Plus rooms. Do not book. Stay away. We've been staying in Premier Plus rooms since they were introduced. On the entry the room 211 was hot and stuffy. We set the aircon to the lowest temperature and the highest power but it didn't make any change. After our complaint the receptionist changed the setting on her system from hot to cold. She claimed on the bench in our room and demonstrated to us that now cold air is blowing, but even 3 hours later it is still very hot in the room. Air conditioning system is outdated and is not working. Mini fridge has not been defrosted for a very long time . Ice in the fridge and a filthy puddle of water by its door. Also previous visitor's bottle top was laying under a foot stool, which means the room was not even hoovered. The shower is in the need of regrouting and resealing. This is not Premier Plus standards. The extractor fan in the bathroom is not working. The toilet seat is too small for the toilet pan. General impression that the hotel manager does not inspect the rooms, does not train his/her staff and not really interested in the comfort of the guests Will we stay here again - absolutely not.
