  Always friendly reception staff. Plenty of parking. Rooms are decent size. Linen fresh and room clean. We stay in various budget hotels and this is one of the better ones. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because charging an extra £15 for early check in is daylight robbery! But that's a company policy and not just for this hotel. Many thanks to all at Hayle Premier Inn, we'll see you soon.

  As usual the staff were all good but although the room was clean this Premier is quite rundown. I have never seen mould on the window frame or on the silicone in the bathroom before. Bed was comfortable as was the room in general but the biggest let down was the food offer. Now there are no Beefeater or Brewers Fayre restaurants you are unable to book a meal deal of any sort and will now have to rely on the food offering available in those old premises by different companies. Unfortunately in Hayle that means Queensway Inns. In a previous life I was a Pub manager in food led pubs , I could criticise many aspects of the new company. 2 weeks ago Hayle changed food operator, in my opinion they do not know their market. On the whole the food on offer would have been better matched to a corner daytime cafe, the menus looked high end, very confusing considering the food. Ihave never seen this site so quiet, so it makes me wonder how after just 2 weeks that the menus and tables were sticky. There was just 1 till available for the staff, who I could not fault. I decided to try the Curry night offer, unfortunately the curry I chose was not available so I changed my choice and was informed there were no Naan available so it would come with garlic bread and the poppadoms. The curry was fine, the garlic bread was on the small side but I was given a poppadom that was no bigger than a Ginger biscuit along with what looked like a Dorito. The table of 6 next to me ended up not paying for their food as the staff member had to keep coming back and telling them that they couldn't fulfil their order. Once again I will reiterate that ghe staff were great, it's a shame ghey had to work with such a poor food offering and shortages. Either the new CEO of Premier is a genius and will somehow get loads more people to book, somehow, when the food offering is so poor or he's made a bad decision. Of course it could be a plan that accepts a lot of the restaurants will fail and they can then purchase ghe site, extend the hotel and have a restaurant inside on the ground floor. Maybe some of the other sites will have a better company doing the food offer but I really can't see me booking with Premier if Queensway Inns are the restaurant on site.
