  Only putting a review on to warn anybody who wants to stay here if it’s the summer with warm temperatures, the rooms have no air con, the windows only open slightly. If there is any breeze outside it doesn’t get into the room. You are provided with a small fan but the last two nights that me and my husband slept with the fan on all night, the room temperature was 28 degrees and we both felt physically sick by the morning. Staff are friendly, location is good for shops and to get about Cornwall north or south.

  And The Worst Premier Inn Award Goes To..... Bodmin! The hotel is not really fit for purpose. Because there is no air conditioning and the windows don't open properly the rooms become oven-like over the summer. The thermostat was reading 32C at night and the fan they provided in the rooms are so noisy you need to wear ear plugs if there's any chance of getting some sleep. After complaining to the poor staff, who have to work in these conditions and were so fed up, they actually asked me to write this review to get Whitbread to take notice of how bad the hotel is. The restaurant and bar was closed due to staff shortages and the reception staff were on loan from another Premier Inn from the next town. I've probably stayed in over 30 different Premier Inn hotels, this one is the worst for many reasons, and I probably won't stay in this usually reliable chain again. Despite going through their formal complaint procedure, I wasn't given a refund, hence resorting to this petty, disgruntled review. So please take note of their Good Night Guaranteed, because the chances are, you're not eligible and it seems totally up to their digression if you're to get a refund.

  Room as expected though only waterfall shower so not suitable for my wife. We booked a table for dinner when we checked in. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Table booked for 7pm food ordered by 7.10pm we then witnessed various stages of frustration among fellow guests our food arrived over an out later no concerns or real apology from the duty manager. We've used premier inn quite a few times but no more.
