  1st stay in this particular Premier inn, this past weekend (25/09-27/09/26) for a Diesel Gala on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway. An enjoyable stay, with just a couple of minor issues, the 1st being my key card wasn't working, after checking in on the Friday night, but it was all sorted within the next few minutes. Also the light in the bathroom had a tendency to flicker, every so often, probably a bulb on the way out, and another switch by the bathroom light, which appeared to do absolutely nothing. Also the power key holder in Room 39 ( the room I was in), needs looking at, as atleast twice on Friday, night, not long after putting the power key into the holder, the lights went out. But apart from the issues mentioned above, a really enjoyable stay, very comfortable and I will be returning. The hotel, could do with slightly better signage/lighting in the carpark area as It us difficult to see the entrance, I actually missed the entrance, and had to turn around.

  My wife and I have stayed at the Bodmin Premier Inn quite a few times in the past few years and have always enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect when visiting Cornwall. The breakfast is lovely in the morning. It would be really great if the hotel group could renovate the building and install air-conditioning with the hot summer months we have these days. Remember this is not a complaint, just a suggestion as we love coming do to Cornwall and enjoy stay at the Bodmin Premier Inn.

  No air con in the room, so it’s going to be warm! Used to be a really good restaurant but it’s gone seriously downhill. Items missing from the menu, staff difficult to get hold of and beer choice limited to one draught, the rest are cans and bottles.

  The room is clean and cleaning staff are very polite and professional. Reception staff (jackie and Alisha)are very accommodating and will do an extra mile to help. Manager Kelly ensures any queries are addressed immediately.. Always happy with my stay in this hotel so far 7 months now.

  Comfy bed as usually but for £181 you’d expect more than than that, bathroom smelled musty room was 28 degrees with no AC the temp outside was 18ish and dropped to 15 overnight so not a hot day. Fan supplied is full of dust and doesn’t reach anywhere near the window where it would have made use of the cool outside air that without it only has a letter box to get through the window. Only got 4 hours sleep as once I woke up in the night and was no longer tired couldn’t sleep in the heat. Breakfast was also terrible had half a plate of scramble egg with the rest of a normal fry up but about 100ml of water on the plate so harsh browns were soggy and all was abit tasteless. So to sum up standard night in a premier the comfy bed is where the comfort ends! Very glad it was for work so no expense from my own pocket.
