  Rooms and staff were all acceptable. However the restaurant was absolutely terrible. Hands down the worst place I've ever eaten at. No way near enough kitchen staff to keep up with demand. Dinner was slow both nights and when we requested a bottle of ketchup we were told we were only allowed them for breakfast. On both evenings we were limited to what food we could have and one of them being there were no burger buns. We came down for breakfast at 8:30 and most of the food was all gone and did not get replaced in the 45 minutes we were there. Will absolutely not stay here again. Management has to take full responsibility for understaffing and cutting far too many corners.

  Cleaner very apologetic and waited 30 mins for all you can eat breakfast and to be honest all I could eat was the plate as nothing ready, the minimal food that was ready stone cold like the wrestler it was awful we had to get a refund

  A beautiful spot in the Western Lake District. Easy access to many beautiful areas. Hotel a little old but rooms comfy enough and staff in the bar/restaurant work extremely hard; there just aren't enough of them.
