  Arrived early for reservation,a pleasant parking attendant allowed us in, a quick payment and ample parking. As early, was told we could use all hotels facilities free of charge, loads of room to enjoy a free coffee and tea. Would highly recommend, and a short 10 min walk to city centre.

  Thank you to the staff. They are incredible. Special thanks to Tyler, who was extremely helpful and it was his first day at work. The room was tidy and clean but I gave it a three because of structural things like no AC (but a small fan was provided) and you have to go to reception to request for an iron. Overall a wonderful stay and the hotel is a walking distance to the town centre full of shops, restaurants and cafes and the river Dee

  We had a 1 night stay here and was our first visit to this hotel and will definitely stay again, really nice comfortable room with good breakfast the following morning and situated right by the racecourse and within minutes walk into beautiful historical Chester, really great staff on reception and the bar and dining area too. It was our first ever booking with Holiday Inn and would highly recommend.

  Location is excellent for racecourse,city and shopping and zoo or local attractions. The £12 parking fee per day i feel is a little steep and there is a car park over the road which could be used i think for half that.Rooms were clean and comfortable and a nice size clean bathroom with toiletries . Breakfast included and there was a hot buffet choice as well as cereals ,pastries ,toast and fruit. Staff were all friendly and helpful. No air con in rooms only fan but the windows were open and we found this to be sufficient even in the warm weather . Would not hesitate to stay here again .
