  Staff are great. The pub next door has closed down but there is a nice pub with food on the same road. A 17 minute walk towards town. We bought drinks and snacks and sat in the beer garden by the hotel reception

  We found the hotel to be quiet and calm, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were kind and welcoming throughout our visit. There was a large car park with plenty of spaces available, and it was well lit at night, which was reassuring. We were given a very spacious family room and the beds were extremely comfortable. The TV worked properly with good reception. However, despite the size of the room, there was only one chair provided. The hairdryer was also a little faulty. The bathroom had a few issues too — the shower pressure was on the low side, while the sink tap sprayed too strongly and caused water to splash everywhere when used. There were also only two cups provided in the family room. One thing to note is that there are no lifts, so carrying heavy luggage up to the first floor was a bit difficult for us. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, comfortable room, and friendly staff!

  Stayed here on April 17th 2026 so my family and I could attend a wedding near by the following day. On arrival there was lots of parking space though the exterior of the building did looked old but rooms and bathroom were very clean and modern. We were a large group in total with about 8 rooms, most of us checking in around the same time but the lady at the reception was always pleasant and very accommodating to our various requests and changes. The attached restaurant was very open, spacious and overall nice with a good variety of food selection on the menu, special mention to Phobe whose service was exceptional and always pleasant. On checkout there was a different lady who also went above and beyond to arrange with the cleaning staff to allow us a later check out on 2 of our rooms to give our mobility impaired parents a little bit more time to get ready for the wedding. All in all a great stay with comfortable rooms and beds, friendly accommodating staff at a reasonable price.

  Positives: Good value for money.You know what your getting with a Premier inn,excellent cooked to order breakfast,friendly staff. Negatives: Only one I can think off is no lift but I'm sure there will be a room suitable on ground floor for less able .Would Return.
