  2 night stay but refurbishment underway for a new Wetherspoon opening next month.

  If you’re looking for a hotel with a bar or restaurant, this isn’t for you at the moment. No word on the website at the time of booking that the restaurant is shut until at least September. Not good.

  The provided sheet was an excellent replacement for air-conditioning. The fan provided was just the right level of air flow. The amount of cereal on offer for breakfast was simply overwhelming. Also I got some free chocolate from the room service vending machine. Will be visiting again.

  Absolutely standard Premier Inn service. Comfortable bed. No noise from outside. My reduction of one star is that the parking is round the back and access is via a very uneven path. Very difficult if you have poor mobility. There was nearer parking, but this was reserved for the Beefeater Inn attached. If you have mobility difficulties then I would advise asking if you can park in the Beefeater Inn car park.

  Awful hotel, it should be closed until its refurbed, it was shabby and dirty and tired, it was during the heatwave, so the room was 39 degrees and only a very cheap fan that didn't work was provided, the staff were fine though !
