  Before writing this review I have made contact with the premier inn directly. Their customer focus is as good as the room. Ill let you look at the pictures and make your own judgement on the hygiene standards. Outside of that we witnessed workplace bullying, harassment and aggression amongst the team in front of paying customers trying to enjoy breakfast. Whitbread should be bloody ashamed of this part of their group. I could go into much more detail but I am still long awaiting a sensible reply from their head office. I do have a vast experience in mystery shopping and my report on this establishment in all my years of doing such would have been one of my worst. Maybe you should employ a 3rd party company or independently run firms to do just that. It wouldnt harm to get good honest insight from a customer prospective. I have left many a good review for other premier inns so tis isn't a targeted report.

  Not much premier about this hotel. Yes its cheap and so luxury isnt expected but general cleanliness doesn't cost any more. The bathroom was very poorly maintained and dirty with hairs everywhere. The breakfast area looked like it just been overtaken by an unsupervised toddlers birthday party with food all over the floor and dirty crockery piled high. The staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else and had a distinct lack of interest. Disappointing.

  We stopped here on the 13th Sept 26 the room was absolutely red hot so got next to no sleep before our early morning flight from Manchester and also the soap dispenser next to the sink look like someone had wiped their bum on it. Defo one to avoid.

  Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location, especially for travelling to and from the airport. Everything was well organised, the room was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay before our journey. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others. ✈️😊

  Bit of a mixed bag but ultimately not worth what we paid to stay. The people who work here were all really nice, no issues at all on that front - everyone was helpful and friendly. We ordered an unlimited breakfast one morning which was good, though there didn't seem to be any of the vegetarian options prepared which were shown on the menu. The beds themselves were comfortable and the room was a decent size. Free parking for guests if you put your reg in at the front desk. The cleanliness of the room was not great - there was an issue with overnight condensation which has led to some mould around the windows. I made the mistake of looking at the other side of the curtains and there were quite a large amount of stains and what appeared to be mould on it. The fans in the room are powerful (as they need to be, the room was around 27 degrees at night minimum) but we had to ask for a replacement as the one we had initially was very dusty. One of the USB ports next to the beds wasn't working at all. The extractor in the bathroom was the loudest I've ever heard. The most egregious issue was the rats outside, which I saw a lot of during my stay. There were trap boxes near the bins but I couldn't see any trap boxes close to the grassed area outside my window, where there are at least 3 rats running around. The planes do go directly overhead and are very loud as some other reviews have written. I wasn't personally too bothered by this but some of my family members did find it woke them up in the night, even with the closed windows.
