Great check-in experience with Andrea who was very friendly polite and efficient. Had the meal deal which is great value for money and Tracey who was on dinner service was very welcoming, accommodating and good sense of humour. This was a business trip but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if ever I am
In Cambridge again. The hotel is quiet and you can request a room with windows that you can open if you prefer. All in all a great stay ! Premier Inn - you can’t go wrong 😊

Laurence is possibly the best service host out there. Great intellectual with whitty banter and a good chat. Food and drink is ok but Laurence is the reason you visit

What lovely people they are at the Premier Inn Cambridge North. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed on Sunday the 24th through to Monday the 25th. Our room was very clean and cool. In the room was a handwritten message from the team and some snacks as a welcome. What a thoughtful gesture! The evening meal was a tad odd as there seemed to be no staff about when we arrived. However they were in the kitchen. Once I had let them know that we were here they quickly got us seated. We were a bit puzzled by the lack of staff covering both the front desk and the restaurant (3 in all, including the chef). They did however take on the challenge of doing both with good humour and a 'can do' attitude. Whilst we did have to wait a while for our food, it was hot when it arrived and clearly freshly cooked. We certainly had no complaints about the food. Being that the hotel is not near any major roads or in the centre of the city, it is a peaceful location and the beds are comfy making for a peaceful sleep. Breakfast was as lovely as the meal the evening before and there was a lot to choose from. Again, it seemed as though there wasn't enough staff, but Tracy and the day staff had the same cheerful can do attitude as their evening shift colleagues (sorry I can't remember their names). Would I stay here again? Yes, 100%. The staff here are a real credit to the company, it would just be nice if there were more of them. The location is good and if you are physically fit, the walk into town isn't too far (there is a bus into town as an alternative though).

We stayed here as a group of 12, across 4 rooms. The service we had was exceptional.
Rooms: Smaller hotel, with a downstairs and 1 floor, rooms were clean, tidy and crucially for our stay had air conditioning. The dinner / breakfast is in a now defunct Beefeater. Due to this service is a little slower, but this was clearly explained to us and food was tasty.
Location: Ample free parking, just register your car at reception. Really lovely surroundings and a short walk to Cambridge, but also bus routes nearby.
Service: This is where our experience was further elevated. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. As a large group they catered us for breakfast and dinner and despite (in my opinion) being understaffed, nothing was too much. Particular shout outs for us were for Laurence and Tracy. But kudos to the whole team, clearly something is being done right here as staff were all friendly and so very helpful. We will definitely be back again.
