  Excellent little stay here with the family. It's well located near the city's attractions on the outskirts with a kid's pkay area right opposite. The rooms were comfy, with lovely beds and a good bath/shower. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay and the breakfast was very good, with a full English on offer and plenty besides, with decent tea and coffee. There was plenty of free onsite parking, just be sure to enter your registration number in the little machine in the lobby.

  I absolutely recommend this hotel, the room is very clean and the reception staff is professional, JINU is a very nice woman who provides all the necessary information about the hotel.

  Came early Sept stayed thurs till sunday. Apparently we were upgraded due to friends frequent visits. On first impressions room clean. Shower knobs were very hard to use and bath taps only had very hot water cold tap not working. Beds very comfy but hadnt been moved in ages for hoovering.... bar upstairs was nice but expensive £6.50 for pint lager, £12.50 dbl gin/ tonic and £36 for btl prosecco. On arrival asked if we required our room to be made up each day of our stay or have a free drink ... only house wine or lager. Handy for Tesco (5min walk) and bus into Cambridge. Apparently rooms are being refurbed..Will use again

  Good hotel, somehow manages to get 8 floors of rooms into a 4 storey building (we're on the 5th floor, which is actually the top floor, or3rd floor from the ground, with the 7th floor somewhere above us). There's a small group of shops round the corner, with a supermarket, takeaways etc, where you can also get an alfresco Thai massage on the green, and from where an hourly bus (8A) goes to town (don't get too excited if it comes early, it's just dropping off before it, bizarrely, goes around in a circle and comes back to pick you up. Worth getting the meal deal at the hotel if you want both dinner and breakfast, it saves quite a bit, and if you ask nicely they'll let you save the breakfast until a later morning in your stay if you don't want it the next morning.

  Free on site carpark is a real asset. Check-in went smoothly. Ground floor family room was clean and tidy. No noise inside or outside for both the nights we stayed. Staff were helpful & friendly. Food experience was disappointing. We waited an hour for our main meal on Friday & our youngsters were irritated with the delay. Staffing issues perhaps? Menu was basic. Reminded us of an overpriced Wetherspoons. Wouldn't eat here again although to be fair the breakfast is good. I tried to get someone's attention to purchase a bottle of wine but the servers were very busy so we walked 3 minutes to a supermarket & bought the same wine for a third of the price. Would stay here again but would eat off site.
