The rooms were clean and reasonably well appointed but the lighting left a bit to be desired. It also needs a chair for people to use the 'table' and work on laptops etc. Not easy for ladies to do their make-up etc as no room mirror or worktop at the right height. But there was an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. It was a bit galling to have to pay for parking, and there wasn't quite enough to cover full occupancy. A lot of trades use this hotel, so there are a lot of vans parking; the spaces are challenging enough for a large family car but a nightmare for a van! Longer doors in vans make it quite difficult getting in and out of the van itself as well as for the vehicles parked next to them. Choices on the restaurant menu are limited, but evening meals served up to 9.30 p.m. Breakfast was OK - I've had better but I've had worse. I've marked it as a business trip, actually my wife was at Addenbrookes for an operation.
