I really feel there’s not enough staff for the amount of people that visit . I asked for a chicken Skewer starter and no skewers and there was more onion than chicken . Disappointed with the service but it’s not the staffs fault as they work hard it’s just the lack of staff ….This was mentioned by a few people

I’ve stayed in so many premier inns over the years, I think this was the worst one I’ve stayed in. Check in was very slow. The self check in machines weren’t working. The room at first glance looked clean but we noticed there was crisps on the floor, long black hairs in the bath, the bath plug hole had lots of hair in it, the toilet wasn’t clean. The door to the room didn’t open or close very easily and you had to really shove the door to get it to move. The lock on the door to double lock it was really stiff and took some force to get it to lock. The TV didn’t work and wouldn’t switch on so thankfully we were able to use our iPad instead. Breakfast was pure chaos…. Staff were making comments of “oh they’ll be lucky” in front of guests when looking for tables of more than 2 people. There was 3 of us put on a small table for 2. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Won’t be staying here again.

Not a particularly great experience, even dissapointing. Premier Inns, are typically so consistent. We stayed there for 2 days. Apparently, you have to request if you want your room cleaned if you stay more than 1 night. One poor bath towel between the 2 of us. Tea/coffee you replenish yourself at reception, but no milk/coffee was available. Poorly trained staff, that had no basic understanding. We eventually found a young lady who did know what she was doing, and found milk, coffee, and towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was peaceful, unfortunately not the same experience for my daughter and her family staying on the 2nd floor, with neighbours that kept them awake all night. Also noticed that the outside bar area was never adequately serviced during our 2 day stay. I hope that our next experience at a Premier Inn is consistently good. We would not choose to stay here again.

Great location close to amenities. We used as a stop over when visiting the area. Quick and easy self check in. Room clean, comfortable bed and nice breakfast with attentive polite staff who were a pleasure. We got in without a queue, however around 9am there was a queue to get in for breakfast. Only downside that we found, using Premier Inn in the the past we have been able to get forgotten toiletries if needed. On this occasion we managed to forget the little ones washbag. When asking, they dont provide these toiletries anymore... there is however a toiletries bag that you can buy for £10. Luckily, we were able to nip to a Co-op nearby. Never usually a problem but something to bear in mind.

Absolutely dreadful hotel. Room has blood on the sheets, stains on the duvet, smell of damp and mould, filthy room which clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. Staff didn’t want to know. Been waiting over a week for a reply from Guest Relations despite complaining and sending photos of the mess. Will be reporting to the council Environmental Health team as it was hazardous to health. My family were so upset about the whole thing; we will never return. Avoid!
