- CBCara Barkham3 days ago3.0Location is fab for central Bristol. Staff very friendly. We payed extra and went for the premier plus room for a special occasion, not worth it. The bed was super comfy but same as standard rooms. Only bonus was the fridge and coffee machine but otherwise you're not really getting any more for your money. The main let down was how tatty the room was, peeling desk, marks on walls and carpet, and the hallway carpet. It states there's Aircon but I wouldn't call it that. Very hot on a hot day. And window doesn't open at all so no fresh air flow. I stopped the lift on another floor and the hallway carpet was so much nicer... I wouldn't say don't stay at this hotel as it was clean and comfortable but don't waste your money on an upgraded room. We parked at The Galleries carpark (£20 for 24 hours) and only a 5-10 walk to hotel. I believe quite a bit cheaper than the one they suggest. Overall a great stay, but next time I'll be booking a standard room..

Limited interaction with the staff as no help was needed, but very friendly when we did approach to check in and check out. Will stay again if needing to stay in the area.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast available on site. I recommend getting to breakfast early before items run out.
