Passive aggressive staff on reception, no air conditioning just a fan on the table on one of the hottest days, bathroom door hits the toilet when opened and I'm sure the dead spider in the shower had been there a while, thankfully I'm only in this area every 5 years

We stay in Premier Inns all over the country, and this was by far the worst one we've ever experienced.During 32°C weather, the temperature inside the hotel felt closer to a sauna than a hotel. The reception area and corridors were unbearably hot, and despite the room supposedly having air conditioning, it simply did not work.Walking into the room was like opening the door to a hot, stale oven. The first thing that hit us was the strong smell of sweaty feet. The room was actually hotter than the corridor outside. The bathroom sink was partially blocked with black, foul-smelling sludge. I had to clear it myself using a toothpick just so the water would drain. Long black hairs were scattered around the room, raising serious questions about whether it had been cleaned at all.The bed was no better. The sheets felt like plastic, trapped heat, and smelled damp. Getting any sleep was impossible. For this privilege, Premier Inn charged £143 for a single midweek night. I've stayed in better hotels in London for less money. I arrived around midnight and left at 6am, not because I wanted an early start, but because I simply wanted to escape the smell, the heat, and the overall condition of the room. Customer Relations responded with plenty of apologies but absolutely no accountability. No refund, no goodwill gesture, no discount—apparently because I didn't report the issues to reception in the middle of the night. I don't pay £143 to spend my night acting as a quality-control inspector.Premier Inn built its reputation on offering clean, comfortable, reliable accommodation. This stay delivered none of those things. I left feeling completely ripped off. A budget hotel charging premium hotel prices while delivering a substandard experience is unacceptable. Shame on you, Premier Inn.

Stayed here last week and was delighted with my whole stay, lovely friendly staff booked me in (helped me with my service dogs), breakfast was fab, buffet type with loads choices, some items were happily made to order but all in all a fab full English. Loved the availability of Crumpets at breakfast too, the manager (Kelly i think) also ensured me & my dogs were sorted which I feel was above & beyond, room super clean and comfy too, loads n loads parking even for large vans too. Thankyou to both Kelly & Anna and all the team for a fab stay, looking forward to my next visit....

It was ok. Pretty average but a decent price and a decent breakfast.
