    No air conditioning while heatwave due to maintenance, refuse to refund or modify dates. Trip.com refused to refund as well, it mentioned in the description it has air conditioning when I booked just a week ago. Holiday Inn Never again.

    No air conditioning working, bedroom like a sauna, mentioned briefly on booking but not a honest representation of the reality As a member offered £10 of dinner if you spent £49 or more which you were never going to breach so a waste of time At £208 a night bed and breakfast way too expensive that you get Would not recommend

    I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront and found the experience to be mixed. The first impression wasn't great due to the lengthy queue at check-in. Only two reception desks were staffed during a busy arrival period, and it seemed that having a third receptionist available would have significantly reduced waiting times. Given that check-in is often a guest's first interaction with the hotel, Holiday Inn should consider additional staffing during peak hours. That said, I would like to commend Rona at reception, who was polite, pleasant, professional and very helpful despite the busy environment. The hotel's location is undoubtedly its strongest asset. Being directly on Brighton seafront is fantastic, with easy access to the beach, promenade and city centre attractions. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is showing its age and would benefit from a comprehensive refurbishment. The rooms feel dated, and the shower water pressure was disappointing. During my stay, the air conditioning was not operational throughout the hotel due to an ongoing upgrade programme. While this was mentioned on the website, it did little to alleviate the discomfort when temperatures were approaching 30°C in the south of England. Overall, the excellent seafront location and friendly staff are positives, but the dated rooms, weak shower pressure, lack of air conditioning and check-in delays detract from the overall experience. With some investment and operational improvements, this hotel could offer a much better guest experience.

    We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and a special thank you to Vicky at reception. She was absolutely lovely throughout our stay always smiling, welcoming and greeting us with a cheerful “good morning” every day. Her kindness and positive attitude really made us feel comfortable and at home. Excellent customer service and such a friendly personality. Thank you Vicky, for making our stay even more enjoyable!

    Rooms have no working AC and they don't let you know! Curtains left open so room is sweltering hot on arrival. No one answered the phone on reception and when I went down, was asked if I'd like a fan bringing to the room! Obviously as you've no working AC! Opted for early check-in but wasn't available on arrival so had to wait in the bar and no one came as a courtesy to tell me my room was ready. I'd been charged for breakfast on arrival despite having notes on my booking stating No breakfast due to dietary requirements! This hotel shouldn't be under the IHG banner!
