  I've stayed here many times over the years. I often stay here for work. Over the years, I've definitely noticed the blind eye being turned to maintainance/ upkeep. First off, the parking is limited. My company pays for the parking address on. If you are not there by 17:00, you'll be in the general charged parking area. It's not expensive, just an inconvenience. Generaly staff have been welcoming and friendly when checking in. The rooms, definitely going down hill over the years I've stayed. This time, was the trigger for me to write a review. As British people we often only write bad reviews or really good reviews when something has been amazing. This is neither. This is a middle of the road review. The room is what you'd expect from a premier in, there are pretty uniform. However I first entered and was hit with smell, that of a secondary school changing room. You know the one, BO and lynx. The room was okay. The bathroom however, not great either. The sink taps are always poor with a pathetic spray pattern. The shower was all over the place. Hot, cold hot l, cold.... The shower head, mouldy, ceilings in the corners... Mouldy. Bathroom floor dusty. Hair from the previous visitor present in the bath. Soap holder next to the sink, rusty. The bottle has obviously been there some time just being topped up. I get if you don't want to change the bottle for environemntal reasons. But install a dispenser... The bed and pillow are what you would expect from a premier inn. For once I was not situated on the side of pop world. Good luck if you get one of those rooms when it's open. Premier inns are usually a safe ground. A step above days in and travel lodge. On this visit, it definitely did not surpass them. Food is okay... I've never had a meal here and thought, I'd have it again. Alot of the time I just go and get food somewhere else. I'm not one to turn down food for calories, but for what the food is, it is incredibly calorific. Would I stay here again.... Probably because it's where I am placed by my company. Let's hope it's even slightly better next time. Yes, I am also aware I could of raised this with staff. However from previous experience, it's not got me anywhere and I'm not paying. I've slept in worst places, that's for sure. Just better cleaning probably would of avoided me writing this.

  We stay at Premier Inn different cities quite alot, first time staying here, lovely hotel and love how its near to the shopping centre, restaurant and bar and the theatre, a great location. Would like to praise Kwabea, for just excellent customer service, very welcoming and helpful, had a lovely warm presence about him, he was great with all customers, thank you Kwabea.Employee like yourself is a great asset to Premier Inn, Also thanks to Emily, who called us a taxi really appreciate it, as we were having a nightmare to get one as we were going to an event that day. We will stay here again, we like it, nice room and friendly staff.

  My recent visit was ABIT if a downer. I always stay at this location but this time the night team were not as helpful as you would think. Reception was busy serving drinks with their colleagues while reception was left empty and customers waiting. A new staff member walked in went in to his staff room and no Comms after. Later I explained why I was there something wrong with our room he told me he will be up in 20mins. 3 hours later nothing so I went back down and again nobody at reception staff were no where to be seen during pressed the buzzer no response.

  Air conditioning broken in first room - room was 27 degrees, when the weather was only 20 degrees outside. However, an alternative room was provided. One of two lifts broken. The working lift sounds sketchy, so I used the stairs. Nearby nightclubs were noisy well into the night, on a Tuesday. “Premier plus” seemed just like a standard room in this hotel, but with a coffee machine.

  This was the most underwhelming premier inn ive visited. We booked a 'premier plus room' but honestly, i dont understand what was 'plus'? We had 1 towel for 2 people.... explain that? The carpet had seen better days, bleach in places, tv was awful quality, room was so warm and unbearable, and yes, did use the air con. There were balloon and banner stickers on the wall above the bed from previous users. We didnt have any everyday coffee pods. There clearly is no attention to detail in this hotel.
