I have stayed at this hotel lots of times and had many meetings at this hotel albeit not recently. I met a customer a few weeks ago and paid for breakfast for 2 and stayed and had coffees after, today I I get a fine through for £100 for parking at no stage was I informed this now needed to be registered. I have tried to phone the hotel to complain, all the phones on the options say the mailbox is full. Don't catch the same cold as I did.
To the hotel management when I arrived to the restaurant and explain I am not a guest and would like to pay for breakfast and coffees why not inform your customers then. I will pay the fine and think twice about returning from now on.

The facilities were wonderful, and it was a beautiful and convenient location too, and an enjoyable stay in that regard - the pool and spa is also stunning
However, a major letdown to our stay as a family was the blunt and rude nature of the staff upon arrival and throughout our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted rather coldly as well as being told from the offset that we were staying on rewards in quite a sarcastic manner as if to say that staying on rewards was something to be ashamed of. In fact, those rewards were received as a result of continuous stays, so it was very insulting to be told that in such a way. Furthermore, as we went for our swim as a family, the man at the health club desk was quite rude as well and said that we only had 20 minutes as children under 16 had to leave by 7:00. This would be fine if it wasn't for the way he said it as well as the fact that the pool was very quiet and no one even checked for kids being in the pool at 7:00 anyways even though we did leave at 7:00 because he asked us to. It's a shame as it's such a lovely location with great facilities however, the service was unexpectedly blunt and rude and I hope upon my next arrival that there will be better service shown towards all guests.

Overall, the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross was a great place to stay, particularly for families looking for a long weekend break or a midweek getaway. The front desk, reception, and dining teams were fantastic, providing excellent customer service and great attention to detail throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, our room did not reflect the same standard. The carpet, bed, living area, and bathroom were not cleaned to the level expected, with noticeable dust, stains on the bedding, and hairs throughout the room, particularly in the bathroom.
The spa and pool facilities also felt quite dated and would benefit from refurbishment. Cleanliness in these areas could be improved as well. Given the price point the hotel commands, I would expect a greater level of investment to ensure the facilities and rooms consistently meet guest expectations.

Spa and bedrooms esp bathroom were great. Adequate 2 course Groupon meal. Service could be improved eg asking if we'd like the a la carte options as well as 2 course option, not waiting ages at bar. Communication from staff could be better eg Sorry for delay, but be with you soon, thank you everything OK. Make the customer feel VIP & special. Didn't quite feel that here. Staff seemed disorganised and unhappy at times. Abhishek Sharma on reception was exceptional though as were all reception, so I first point of contact. Staff seemed interested in group lunches or events making sure these were on track but felt as normal visitor staying overnight didn't get the wow factor as far as service was involved. Perhaps management need to employ more staff to allow existing staff to do a better job and encourage more repeat business/new business. Was adequate though.
The hotel charges a very high rate for the quality they provide to its clients.
I will list below what I saw:
1. I could not pass to the other side of the room because the desk was too close to the bed, so I needed to go over the bed.
2. My luggage stayed by the door because I could not move to the other side of the room for the same reason I listed above.
3. The room I stayed in had a really bad smell, almost of wet clothing, for a very long time.
4. My window was seen as a wall and ceiling with a kind of mold outside, and I think the smell inside comes from the outside.
5. Very old carpet and ugly.
6. I ordered room service because I got a little late to the hotel, and the food lacked taste.
7. The toilet was a little dirty.
8. The shower looks nice, but when you turn it on, it is not what it looks like. It will go all over the place, and in the end, you do not feel that you had a good shower.
9. The only positive in the hotel is the staff, who are very friendly.
I have been traveling for the past twenty years, but this hotel was the most deceptive I had in the last twenty years.
My recommendation: find another hotel.
