Perfect location for Cadbury world and Drayton Manor Theme Park. Rooms were clean and everything worked as it was supposed to. Some road noise if windows are left open during the night. Adjoining eatery was brilliant and had deals which were good value.

The team at Premier Inn Sutton Coldfield were really friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The lady offered me a complimentary bottle of water, which was a lovely gesture and saved me from having to go to Tesco which is a bonus it being next door if I needed anything else. Kerry was especially friendly and went above and beyond to help with any issues I had, resolving everything promptly. The customer service from all the staff was excellent, and they made me feel well looked after from check-in to check-out. The hotel was actually clean considering some of the reviews I had seen. I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to Kerry and the team.

Had no running water. Sent an email to complain and they pretty much said "well, not much we can do about it now"
Not a good premier Inn and poor service from HR.

The standard rooms appeared to have been upgraded since our last visit. The new “monsoon“ shower was obviously designed by a man. Apart from the fact that it isn’t a monsoon shower (just a trickle of water), my wife and the other women in our party were all fed up because it is impossible to have a shower without getting your hair wet (it was really hot both outside and in the bedroom so showers were a necessity). Also, the temperature of the shower water was not constant but varied between hot and cold while you were showering. Unusual for Premier Inn to make such a bad mistake on design but there you have it. Seems Premier Inn’s priority is low maintenance costs with their showers rather than actually meeting their customers needs.Staff were friendly and helpful as usual. We are long-standing customers of Premier Inn over many years but will check carefully for the future with individual PI hotels before booking to make sure they still have the handheld showers (or a bath). If they move over to this shower design for all their hotels, then we will be going elsewhere in the future.
