  Wouldn’t ever go back to one of their hotels. The staff when checking in were friendly. However, the day I had my room turned over for cleaning, I woke up with over 35 bites on my body, which were definitely bed bugs. When explaining to the receptionist of the incident, I got a blasé response of “Oh no, that never happens. Sorry. Let me take some photos.” He took photos of the ones on my neck and hands, which I won’t put all my photos. But then he said after all of it to “Have a nice day.” as I was checking out. And that was that. It was so unapologetic and no care given, I came away crying in the end when leaving as I felt so overlooked! Not to mention, I didn’t kick up a fuss of not having any working AC. I got given two fans and a “well look at it”, then the carpet looking like someone’s bodily fluids had gone over it. The kettle for tea had some coffee in it as well, so someone previously tried making coffee in the kettle but it hadn’t be cleaned out or checked. If anyone is looking to checkout at this hotel, I would honestly say to stay clear, as I can put up with the dirty carpets and no AC. But coming away with an enormous amount of bites with no sympathy. That I can’t overlook.

  Tolle Lage fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof und in die Innenstadt. Zimmer sind geräumig und angemessen gut. Frühstücksbuffet ist OK. Aber ein unterirdisch schlechter Zimmerservice: Das Zimmer wird selten gereinigt, das Bett wird fast nie gemacht, am Wochenende tut sich überhaupt nichts, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Wem es egal ist ob sein Zimmer vernünftig gereinigt wird, dem sei dieses Hotel aber trotzdem empfohlen...

  Ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο , με κουζίνα , μάτια , φούρνο μικροκυμάτων , πλυντήριο πιάτων,και πολλές πρίζες (χρήσιμο !!!) Κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης.

  This hotel is in an excellent position, less than 5mins walk from New Street train station and the Bull Ring shopping centre. Theatre's and the Utilia Arena are only 10/15mins walk depending on how fast you walk, all the main night life bars and restaurants are only 10mins walk. The staff are very helpful and friendly 🙂 the rooms are excellent value for money and the very tasty breakfast is included in the price 😀 The kitchenette is well equipped and easy to use. You need to use the lifts to reach the reception area, these are big enough for a wheelchair user. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel if you are heading to a show in Birmingham Centre.

  I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites Birmingham by IHG and found the experience to be a bit mixed. The staff were excellent throughout the stay – friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The breakfast was okay, with a reasonable selection, although nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. The room was very hot and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Not all of the lifts were working during my stay, which caused some inconvenience, especially at busy times. The hotel also feels like it’s in need of a little TLC, as some areas are looking a bit tired and could do with refreshing. Overall, the fantastic staff were the highlight of the stay, but improvements to the rooms, maintenance and general upkeep would make a big difference.
