  Worst Premier inn I have ever stayed in. Filthy rooms, hot, booked early check in and rude lady on reception said that our room might not be ready, followed us to the room and then quickly checked it was tidy but it was filthy. Room smelt like someone had died in it. We stayed for 4 hours then left as there was no way I was sleeping there.

  Stayed at this premier inn last night, checked bed sheets and they looked fine. Got up this morning and there was spots of blood everywhere , checked the bed and there was a beetle 🪲 on the mattress. It looks like a bed bug, will never stay at this premier inn Rubery south birmingham ever again. Absolutely disgusting

  We've stayed here several times before and have always liked this Premier Inn. Disappointed today, however - it took reception over five minutes to come to the front desk and check us in, and when we got to our room there was only one set of towels, a dirty carpet and dead insects on the bathroom floor.

  Currently staying at this hotel and can’t believe the temperature in the room. No air conditioning and it has not dropped below 30°c yet and it’s nearly 9pm. The kids found it very difficult getting to sleep in the heat and we currently have 4 fans on which is not helping. The hotel itself is lovely and quiet, with friendly staff. However I would never book this hotel again based on the room temp!!!

  We spent a pretty horrendous night here where our room was at a constant 28.5 °C. We were sweltering. Whilst we appreciated the thought, the two fans provided in the room did absolutely nothing to improve the hellish temperature. I have never been in such a hot room. It would be dangerous for infants and the elderly. Another issue was the fact that there was no regular plug socket next to the bed for my husband's CPAP machine which is ridiculous and extremely shortsighted as many, many people use them. Lastly, there were 3 of us in the room so why only 2 cups supplied? Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant.
