Room is perfect. Location is perfect for a meal out and a not far from the canals and bars along there. The service was very welcoming and friendly.

Turned up after eye surgery nearly three hours before check in, they were so lovely to let me have a room. Due to my sight issues, so now resting in a gorgeous comfortable bed 😊

I wanted to write this review to praise Sharon in the restaurant. There were long waits for food and drink due to understaffing and it must have been very stressful for the two staff covering the bar, restaurant and reception. However, despite this Sharon was warm, friendly and smiley - she has made our visit to Birmingham! I hope she will get the positive recognition she deserves for her great customer service!

Noticeable decline in service and hospitality in the bar and restaurant since the recent staff layoffs. Evening service was slow, with one staff member clearly trying to cover too much. All but one lager was unavailable, and there were no coffee beans in the machine at breakfast.
Tried the new evening menu. Food was okay, but the service means I won’t eat here on future stays. Room was average.

Stay here quite often with work and left my Kindle in the room when I was here in July. When I came back in September I asked if they had found it. Thanks to the girls in the bar and at reception and a special shout out to Sharon who looked back through the system to see if it had been handed in. She then went and searched through lost property to find it.
Really appreciate the service girls and it's things like that, that make work travel more enjoyable!
