- KNKatie NewboldAug 28, 20265.0I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It really surprised me. As someone who occasionally travels to Birmingham, the location did worry me a little bit as I know the area can be quite busy and at times can feel a bit unsafe. However, there was rarely any trouble when I was entering and exiting in the hotel and it was enclosed proximity to New Street Station so there was regular security nearby which helped me feel a little bit safer as I travelled alone. In terms of the hotel itself, it was really really nice. The lady at the front desk was really kind and so helpful. She talked me through the check in process and also asked about my day, which for me is something that I've not really experienced when checking into a hotel so it was quite refreshing. It really felt like they cared about you and were very welcoming of you as well. The rooms were absolutely incredible. I stayed on the 6th floor. My room was located very close to the lift which was very handy. The room was spacious. It's one of probably the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed in. It was spotless. The room did have a small table where I could sit and had a great view of the Birmingham skyline. The room also had a handy night light for the bathroom which I thought was a really great touch. Honestly I had a very pleasant stay. I can't comment on any of the food as did not eat at the hotel but I I genuinely had an amazing experience and I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
