  I had a great stay there, no complaints! Can recommend! Helpful staff, good breakfast options - honestly everything was good for the price. The place is located in the quieter part of the city, which I liked.

  Stayed here two nights and on the whole had a good time. Rooms were what you'd expect from Premier Inn, clean, comfy bed, slept well both nights. Big shoutout to Anneka who was on breakfast duty. She was brilliant, really friendly and on the ball every morning, made the start of the day so much easier. She deserves a mention. Only gripe was the parking, £9.50 a night. First time I've come across a Premier Inn charging for it, so maybe that's a new thing they're bringing in. Would much rather it just be part of the room price to be honest, feels a bit off getting hit with extra charges once you've already paid for your stay. Would go back though, good location and a great team, Anneka especially.

  We stayed there for 2 nights to see the Euro athletics. All of the staff were friendly, but Lorna on reception was exceptional, so helpful, she is a diamond, a real credit to Premier inn.

  Please don’t book this hotel! We stayed in August 2026 and what a nightmare. We checked in at around 5pm, the room we were given was on the first floor and it was like stepping back in time. I know this is a basic hotel but shelves and cupboards were so old but that wasn’t the worse thing. It absolutely stank, of damp and all sorts of smells I was immediately upset walking into that room shocked me. We asked to move rooms and were accommodated however the second room wasn’t much better. It smelt less but again the room was old, run down and dirty. I was made aware that the hotel was fully booked so it wasn’t looking too hopeful. We decided to go out for few hours change of scenery and when I went to open the window to air it out, it opened ever so slightly so I went to move the net curtain and the whole thing fell down. It was also dirty and stains on the walls, didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly. By this point I was upset and annoyed but I was checking out early in the morning so I sent an email to the hotel whilst in the room to inform them of all this as mentioned the hotel was fully booked. Firstly took them a week to reply said they would investigate. After three weeks Iv had to chase them up and I heard nothing. Was basically told no gesture of good will would be provided and nothing could be done. So much for the good night guarantee. Just please think before booking, awful hotel and service.
