  I recently stayed at this hotel and had a deeply negative experience, primarily due to the conduct of the lady manager. Her behavior was consistently unprofessional and, in my observation, discriminatory. On multiple occasions, she displayed extreme hostility towards guests, particularly Muslim women wearing headscarves, making me feel deeply uncomfortable. Threats of reporting guests to the council over minor issues like a temporarily malfunctioning room card were common, and she often responded with aggression rather than assistance when guests approached her for help. This pattern of poor customer service and what appeared to be racist attitudes has been noted by other guests as well. I cannot recommend this hotel while this management style persists.

  Good quality rooms which are generously sized. The bathrooms are great and spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a decent choice. Parking is available at a cost but is cheaper if you book in advance with the room. Nice bar area and restaurant offered a decent range but it's more microwave meals than Gastro Dining. Staff are really good.
