Visited with family and on the whole a very good experience. Plenty of parking even though we were booked in for a midday slot. We arrived early so went into the cafe for a drink and a bite to eat. Prices did seem a bit steep but it was expected. Went into the experience and some of the flooring was very bumpy especially if in a wheelchair which one of the party was. On the whole the 2 hrs it took to go around was very enjoyable. Lots to see and do.
It has changed over the years. Some for the best and some not so. I can recall hoing when first opened and you saw production lines and you were given do much chocolate you more or less had your entrance fee back. Alas now the freebies you get are very sparse and warning that majority of products to buy in the shop are more expensive than supermarkets.
Overall would i recommend yes as long as you have some kind of voucher to reduce the cost. You could stay alot longer than we did and do the outside playground and show.
The staff were very quick to remind people that the access lines were only for those visitors with disabilities. This was very much appreciated as I found it hard to comprehend that some people would think it is ok to try and push past visitors in wheel chairs.
Top tips would be take drinks and food as cafe expensive. Try and go early in the day so you are able to do alot more outside. Don't be fooled into buying chocolate in the shop thst uou can buy far cheaper up the road in a supermarket.

We have visited Cadbury World a few times over the past three years, and every time there seems to be something new, which is lovely. My three children absolutely love it!
We visited on Thursday 13th of August which was an extremely hot day, but it was actually a really pleasant experience. It wasn’t too busy, and the air conditioning inside worked fantastically. We have a disabled child and asked at reception for a queue-skipping wristband, which was very helpful, even though the queues weren’t particularly long that day. There were also plenty of drinks available, including slushies, and a free water refill station near the playground, which was very welcome in the heat.
The Freddo Magic Show was fantastic! My 5-year-old had never seen Freddo before and was completely fascinated by the show. We had unfortunately just missed it when we were at the playground before our entry time, as I hadn’t realised there was a show until I noticed the sign in the café.
Later, after the 4D cinema, I tried to take a little shortcut back towards the playground so we could catch the next show. I was stopped by Katie, who explained that we needed to finish the experience first and then go around properly, and that the show runs every 45 minutes. At first I became quite upset and frustrated because I am autistic myself, and when I have made a plan in my head, an unexpected change can be difficult for me. However, I am actually very thankful for the way Katie handled the situation. She remained extremely calm, understanding and friendly, and continued smiling and speaking kindly to me. Because of the way she dealt with it, I didn’t become overwhelmed and was able to carry on enjoying the experience with my children.
Overall, we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I also have to mention the lady at reception, around her mid-40s with short hair — she was honestly one of the most patient people I have ever come across! She was incredibly helpful and patient with everyone.
Another lovely visit to Cadbury World, and all three of my children are already looking forward to coming back again.

Haven't visited Cadbury world for around 7 years but used to visit regularly as a child and it used to be an amazing place. This time I was so disappointed.
The attraction itself has somehow been made smaller, you barely get to see any of the factory now whereas you used to see the workers actually making chocolate, you'd see the machines packing chocolate into boxes etc. None of that area is open anymore!
The majority of the staff seemed pretty miserable with the exception of Sheila who actually seemed like she enjoyed her job. In particular the staff member in the area where you choose your toppings for the little pot of chocolate was extremely rude and spoke to everyone in the area like children to try and get them into two separate queues.
It took us about 2 hours to get through everywhere but a lot of that time was spent queuing. The old Cadbury world used to focus on the history of chocolate and how it's made but now the main part of the attraction seems to be the 4D experience which honestly was just totally over the top and silly, but I appreciate most children probably enjoy it.
My main issue however was every video or interactive part of the exhibit was extremely quiet to the point you could barely hear it. With other guests talking and loud music coming from elsewhere you couldn't hear anything which made it completely pointless. There were no staff members around to tell people to be quiet and so the majority of the exhibit was ruined.
Something seriously needs to be done to bring Cadbury World back up to where it used to be, it's no longer the Willy Wonka-esque chocolate factory experience that it once was. Such a terrible disappointment.

I was very disappointed with our visit to Cadburys world. Came with my wife and two kids (12 and 9) for a day out.
The introduction in the beginning of the Cadbury brothers starting the business is interesting, but halfway through the story of how the company is founded, a recording of birds chirping is played, completely drowning out all dialogue - there is no obvious reason for this soundbite, no reference to nature or anything else associated with birds, so just drowns out the facts unnecessarily.
Moving on into the next section (and this is a running theme throughout the entire tour), it is clear that upkeep and maintenance has been severely neglected for many years. Trying to hear the explanation of the videos being played about how the chocolate bars are made is impossible - speakers are too quiet and the sound quality is very poor. We stayed behind after all the rest of the group had left and still couldnt hear the recordings. None of us have hearing problems.
The information scattered throughout the tour has worn away, so letters and words are missing from information points.
You see very little of the factory or the chocolate making process, everything is on screens with poor audio.
The kids loves the 4D adventure and the ride - but the calibration of the guns was off and both children complained that they couldn't shoot the screens properly (again, no maintenence since installation, it seems).
No mention of the new ownership takeover or the differences from when the factory was opened to today.
Such a shame as this tour could have been amazing, but instead you are left looking at missing and outdated information. Its in manor need of updating and renovation.
Stay at home and watch the Netflix documentary - you'll get more from that with less queuing.

On Friday we visited cadbury world. Here is all the attractions. First is the aztec adventure part which is really cool! Then next you have these little screens which tell you all about when cadbury first started. Then there are two theatre rooms but they pretty much talk about the same things. Now is a little arcade but you can't really here them so a bit boring. Next you have a little guide of how chocolate was made, after that is the factory where you can watch the people in the factory make chocolate and there is also the world's largest mini egg! Thats super cool! Then you have the free pot of melted chocolate and you can choose two yummy toppings 😋. Then is the station where you can temper the chocolate yourself and write your name in chocolate! After that is the 4d chocolate adventure and the African adventure play area with lots of seating areas to have a picnic if you have brought your own lunch. ( if not you can just sit in the café and eat it). then you go back inside and learn more about cadbury when it first started and another cute thing in here is the bournville area In mini sized!! That is so cute and everything is numbered so you can find a number and read all about that landmark! Next is a big room of all vintage chocolate boxes and all the old merchandise which is very cute and brings back nice memories for people! Then you go upstairs and there are a few little statues including the cadbury dog and the gorilla singing phill collins that is very nice! Finally you have one more ride which is like big bumper cars and you shoot all the coco beans and stuff. Then you just have your gift shop and café like most of places like this do. Overall it's a nice day out but there are a few things that could make people's experience even better! 😃
1. The little screens and arcade machines need to be louder as you can barely here them, especially in the summer holidays you can only here tons of kids screaming around so that needs to be improved.
2. The café needs better lighting as is very dull especially the private party room is extremely dull! It has tinted windows which doesn't help at all it could be a nice sunny day and it would still look miserable and dull in there. I know I wouldn't want to have a party in there!
3. The café also needs to have better seats as is very uncomfortable when your trying to relax on one. I think it would also be good to have some booths in there as some big families that go can't all fit round the tables.
4. The staff in the café are rude! I was going the toilet and a waiter was coming past so I let her go but she didn't say thank you to me or smiled and didn't show any acts of politeness! Which is such a shame as everyone else was so friendly and kind round there! Especially with my nan in her wheelchair they made sure she didn't miss out on anything!
There was just one thing which i thought was not acceptable though. During the melted chocolate station everyone was just standing in the queue waiting for there turn, but then out of the blue, this woman with her husband and three kids were coming past me and queue jumped the whole line!! As everyone else who had waited patiently there is this woman barging in asking for her melted chocolate! And the staff could blatantly see that she was queue jumping and pushing people out the way! The right thing would have been the staff to say to her go back to the line and wait your turn but the staff running that seemed a bit fed up anyway. Overall it was a nice day out but there are some changes that need to be made! Would recommend to all chocoholics!!
