  Very impressed with the hotel, it's rooms and the staff were great. Only thing to let this hotel down was the evening meal. It was served in what I would call a breakfast bowl, I would have at least expected an actual dinner plate.. I had steak and ale pie, which was in my opinion done that long in a microwave it was black all around the edges and stuck to the bowl, I also had the vegetables ( also in a breakfast bowl) The young lady that took the order was very apologetic and offered me a complimentary dessert or another drink. All in all, I suppose it was just a one off hopefully, and if breakfast is a good standard I'll add the extra star.

  I have stayed here the past 3 times I have been to Belfast. This time for 14 days. I had only eaten once in the restaurant last year. This year, I ate at POVO multiple times. The food in Belfast is very good, but I was also very surprised at how good the food is in VOCO for a hotel restaurant. The service is great all around from front desk, room cleaners and restaurant. I even saw a man picking up trash on the floor outside by the tables. Everyone always greats you. It makes my day so much better. Especially in the morning for breakfast. I do have trouble every time I come here because it takes me a while to figure out the shower. But I finally figure it out. 😅😅 What stood out the most was Dagmar. She is wow. Fantastic. Always smiling and always friendly. She gives great options to order and let my vegan friends also know what they can order. I watched her with other tabes and she is just so great. She took me in as I ate dinner by myself when a hugeeeee party arrived before me and told me that there might be a wait for my food. I actually did not mind because the food js so good. You have great chefs or cooks. The food is always perfect temperature and the plates are always clean. I don’t know how they service such huge parties with only a few chefs. At the moment there is also a man playing music and he sounds sooo lovely. I love the quietness of Voco, but I also did enjoy is music also. Says his name is Edgar on his guitar. I cannot wait to stay here again. Although you might need more rooms!! It seems to be packed with people every night. 😅😅

  Only stayed one night here but it was great - checked in quite late and the front desk staff were very pleasant. Our seventh floor room was very spacious with a good view and really big comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of good quality hot options, cereal, pastries, fruit, juices etc. There didn't seem to be much in the immediate area but it was only a ten minute walk into town.

  Lovely rooms. Excellent bar and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from the area we wanted to visit
