I spent a weekend in the hotel to attend a wedding. I found the hotel very pleasing .
The food was of a very good standard with as much to eat as you wanted 😋
Staff very friendly and nothing was to much for them to deal with.

Typical premier inn, clean, comfortable room, air-conditioning just about coped with the latest heat wave. Highlight was the breakfast, great choice of quality items

If I could give zero stars I would , this is an honest review of one of the worst places I've had the misfortune of staying at.
Firstly as they're own advert states 'you know what your getting with a Premier inn' which is very misleading as this was like a hostel hole's in curtains, windows that do not open and air conditioning that's controlled centrally in a heatwave.
Skirting boards in bathroom with flaky paint mould on grouting and rusty soap holders over basin and over bath shower brown stains in toilet bowl and very very tired room.
We were only staying 1 night and were only using the room to sleep in but too top that off we had barely any sleep due to the fact room 410 has some sort of issue with noise from a faulty appliance somewhere sounded like helicopter trying to take off all night long. By 3am my husband went to reception to ask for ear plugs and explain about the continuing noise to be told ' oh yes we do have problems in that room with noise and they had to move people previously to different rooms because of it, but they couldn't move us as they were fully booked' they did come up to the room to hear the noise for themselves which they described as a continuous thrumming noise but they couldn't do anything about it and would make the manager aware in the morning this was at 3.15am.
They also didn't have any ear plugs to offer us either which is very unusual for a company that prides itself on people having the best nights sleep as ' You Know What Your Getting'.
Fast forward to 9am after possibly 1.5 hours sleep we go for breakfast and on our return spoke to Beth and asked for a refund under the company's Good night's sleep policy to be given a number to ring guest relations and ask them to process a refund this was on Monday 13th July.
Upon our return home my husband rang them straight away to try and process a refund which is still in the process of assessment apparently which can take 3 to 5 working days.
We asked Beth at reception for a copy of our complaint log at reception that had been placed at 3am and was told she couldn't do that, but she would e mail it to us which she has not.
So please be aware before booking this hotel under the guise of ' you know what your getting ' as you certainly do not.
I will be forwarding a complaint to Bath trading standards
