  Positives; Location is great, staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Negatives; Room was very dusty, top of fabric headboards are screaming for a vacuum. Surface dust on the carpet under the bedside tables, where they’re not pulled out to be vacuumed. My room had no milk, or sugar, I replied via WhatsApp but got no response from the hotel.

  This was my first time at the Indigo and it was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, clean, smells amazing and very niche. Not only was the food and drinks delicious the staff we beyond helpful, every single person we interacted with was unbelievably nice. One member really made an impression, a young man named Gabe was not only awesome while working, we ran into him outside of the hotel on the evening and it was an amazing chat. Overall I cannot give this hotel any higher praise and cannot wait to go back

  Indigo Bath — DO NOT STAY HERE if you don’t want random staff barging into your room or your belongings thrown out onto the street! This was the most humiliating and traumatic hotel stay I have ever had. Early in the morning, a male member of staff burst into my locked hotel room without knocking, without any prior warning or consent. I was partially undressed inside the room and was exposed to this stranger. I suffered immense shock, humiliation and severe psychological distress. After this serious violation of my privacy, I confronted the hotel manager. They refused to offer any apology. They falsely claimed there was no CCTV to review what had happened. To make matters worse, my personal luggage was thrown outside the hotel by their staff. The hotel later admitted they were at fault and promised to refund half of my room rate as compensation. Yet this agreed refund has never been paid. A hotel room is supposed to be a private, safe space for guests. This hotel fails to provide even the most basic respect for guest privacy and safety. Instead of resolving the issue properly, they are dismissive, hostile and broke their own promise of compensation. I strongly warn all travellers: stay far away from this property. Your privacy and safety are not guaranteed here.

  Very pleasant stay overall. I really liked the hotel’s interior and design, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a later check-out and they allowed it without any problems. I was also able to leave two backpacks at the hotel until the evening, which was very convenient. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and I would recommend it. The food was good and the cocktails were very nice, especially the sweet ones. The main downside was the comfort of the beds. The mattresses in our twin room were very firm and the pillows were quite thin, so it took some time to get used to sleeping there. I also could not find a hairdryer in the room, although perhaps one was available from reception on request. I would not personally recommend adding breakfast. I did not find it particularly tasty, and the selection felt quite limited. We went for breakfast at around 9:00 am and some items were already running low — for example, there was very little sausage left. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for the interior, staff and restaurant.

  Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo Bath. The hotel has a wonderfully quirky character, with the décor being really well done and full of thoughtful touches. It’s definitely not your conventional hotel, with an unusual layout and rooms that feel much more individual and interesting. The food was excellent too. Proper restaurant quality food rather than the usual hotel offering. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the atmosphere and character of the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!
