I can't fault the rooms, the staff or the location. The parking though - having to pay £50 to park your car overnight, in the car park if the hotel you're already spending £179 to spend the night in - it's just a bit rich, if I'd known that I would have paid £230 for a night at a better hotel. Just to add the lift was broken which just added to the "fun" family holiday having to carry our luggage up to the second floor.

This is a wonderful hotel with good prices. The staff is very kind and understanding—they helped me and my family get extra towels, they helped us find our way to the city centre, they fixed up our pullout bed, and called us taxis. The rooms (including the lobby) were very clean and air conditioned. My bathroom was well taken care of, and the beds were softer than the ones I have at home. P.S. I've never slept under such a warm blanket. I loved it. Holiday Inn's location is also very amazing. I'd say it was about a 15-20min walk to the city centre where you can see the cathedral and Roman baths. However the negatives for me are the fact that the elevator wasn't working, so my family and I had to carry all of our luggage down from the third floor. And the vending machine is kind of pricey for a few snacks and drinks. In my experience, the city centre is kind of dodgy when it comes to suitable food restaurants, so I would just recommend eating breakfast and dinner in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to others, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Checked in to our room, on a pre booked pit stop on our way to Devon. Staying over night only and shocked to be told its £50 to stay in the car park for 24 hours. I asked if we could have 12 hours then as we are travelling on after breakfast. So only need overnight car parking as we. I was told NO! 24 hours only has to be paid for no other options unless I want to park a 10 minute walk away. Completely ripped off by having to pay for 24 hours at the extortionate cost of £50 per 24 hours, double the time we are staying for. Unfair as we have two autisic children and I'm disabled so parking elsewhere would be impossible for our safety. Also there was no pillows, sheets or duvet provided for the sofa bed. I had to use towels for our childen to sleep on the bed and give them our pillows from the main bed to use. Discusted and will never book here again.

Spend a night at the hotel, which is located in walking distance to the major attractions of Bath. Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working during our stay, which meant we often had do carry our buggy to our room. The room itself is super small. I would actually call it to small for a family of four with luggage. What was the biggest annoyance however was, that the hotel decided to increase the price for the car park to 50 £/night. When booking the price still was 30 £/night (which is already really expensive) and was also confirmed by the hotel via Expedia. They still didn’t honour the price at the time of booking which basically every other hotel does (I’ve experienced this many times by now). They’re suggesting you park somewhere else instead, but a car park was one of the main reasons I booked that hotel in the first place. Next time I’ll stay somewhere else.
