  This is the first time I have used a ihg hotel and it will not be the last. This hotel is in a really good location within 20 minutes, walking distance of the centre bath and very near to major transport links ie buses which will take you into the centre of bath and back. The buses are very frequent and stop right outside the hotel. Ou room was clean and well furnished. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

  Overall, I had a good stay and only a couple of complaints. I stayed in room 326, which is next to the housekeeping storage area, and there was quite a lot of noise in the morning from staff handling cleaning equipment, which made it difficult to sleep longer in the morning. I also stayed for six nights and found the breakfast very repetitive, as the selection was exactly the same every day. I ended up skipping breakfast twice since a little more variety would make a noticeable difference for longer stays.

  Location is ok, walking distance but over 10 minutes. Hotel overall ok, acceptable level of cleanliness, Staff calling you "mate", breakfast bare minimum, dress code from some customers pyjamas. Car park. Maybe its location but £160 for 2 days unless you ask for customer discount (£77) is disgusting and with the price of the room quite frankly a ripoff. Would rather stay outside of Bath again than there.

  ⭐ Outstanding Staff Recognition – Holiday Inn Bath I would like to formally nominate the team at Holiday Inn Bath for exceptional recognition for the outstanding service they provided during what could have been a very difficult and frustrating situation involving our rooms. What impressed me most was the way the entire team dealt with the situation. They didn’t simply do what was expected of them — they went above and beyond at every opportunity. Throughout the whole experience, the staff remained incredibly calm, professional, polite, friendly and approachable. They handled everything with patience and understanding, communicating clearly and doing everything they could to resolve matters and make sure we were looked after. Their professionalism was genuinely exceptional. Even when dealing with a challenging situation, there was never any sense of frustration or unwillingness to help. Instead, they consistently demonstrated a "how can we make this better?" attitude, which is exactly what outstanding hospitality should be about. 🌟 Special Recognition – KIRA I would particularly like to give special recognition to KIRA. Kira was absolutely fantastic and deserves particular praise for the way she handled the situation. Her calmness, professionalism, friendliness and willingness to help really stood out. She is an excellent example of what exceptional customer service should look like and is a real credit to Holiday Inn. 👏 Recognition for the Whole Team I would also like to personally recognise: NELLA KIRAN HARRY HARVEY Every one of them contributed to making a difficult situation considerably easier for us. They worked together brilliantly and consistently maintained an extremely high standard of professionalism and customer care. 🏆 A Team Deserving of an Award I genuinely believe that Holiday Inn as a company should consider giving this team an additional award or special recognition for the service they provided. These situations are often when you truly see the quality of a hotel and its staff. Anyone can provide good service when everything is going perfectly — but it takes a special team of people to remain calm, positive, professional and genuinely caring when things become challenging. That is exactly what this team demonstrated. They are great ambassadors for Holiday Inn, and their actions reflect extremely positively on the company and the brand. I hope this feedback is shared with their management and, ideally, with the wider Holiday Inn organisation. Staff who demonstrate this level of dedication and professionalism deserve to know that their efforts have been noticed and genuinely appreciated. Kira, Nella, Kiran, Harry and Harvey — thank you. You didn't just do your jobs; you went the extra mile when it mattered most. Holiday Inn Bath should be extremely proud to have such a fantastic team representing the company.
