A stay which exceeded our expectations. Room was large and of the standard expected for premier inn.
The staff and service matched a 5 star hotel.
Maria in particular was magic.
Our children had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
The restaurant next door was perfect for what we needed also.
Bit tricky Sat Nav which brought me to wrong place, but young lady with glasses were excellent during check in and the staff during breakfast as well!
Experience with manager was undesirable at best.

The rooms and beds were nice and the front desk staff were helpful, but there were a couple of things that brought the score down for me:
- They were in the process of changing the heating in the rooms and it was hard to get it to the right temperature. Even with staff help, the temperature tended to be either too hot or too cold.
- There were no power outlets near the bed and the USB outlets on either side were old skool. As someone that needs to have a medical device plugged in overnight, I had to sleep the wrong way round on the bed. Despite being average height, this meant that my feet were up against the headboard all the time, which was uncomfortable.
- The hotel isn't well signposted from the street and took a little bit of finding (with Maps not being a great help with walking directions either).
- While not in a rough area, the hotel isn't in a particularly great area. I never ran into any trouble though.
- The front desk isn't staffed all the time.

Got a shock when we first saw the hotel, if it hadn't been fully paid for, wouldn't have stayed, it is in a very poor state, in need of a lot of, TLC. Not the same as all the other Premier Inn, we have stayed in. It was very expensive for one night. I have to say it was, clean, staff very polite. Visiting for a family funeral.
