Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Fulwood Park, and Blakely's Golf LLC are less than five miles from us. Forest Lakes Golf Club at ABAC is a 15-minute drive and Wild Adventures is an hour away. - CPChristopher PikeDec 31, 20253.0The hotel was exactly as described in the reviews and online descriptions. It's clearly a remodeled (and very old) hotel that likely was never more than 2 stars. However, that seemed apparent in the reviews and I didn't expect more. Because of that, it actually exceeded expectations in some areas but failed in others. First off, the staff was incredibly pleasant and professional. Our room was on the first floor so the high ceilings was a nice touch. The room was clean, including the bathroom. Unfortunately, the bed was creaky and very uncomfortable. My back has never hurt more than it did that morning. There was no lounging chair to watch TV ... LOTS of floor space but nothing in it. Breakfast was not even continential; just a few pastries ... the entire selection was carbs. There was no protein and only apples (my wife is allergic) for fruit. That was disappointing, especially considering the banana picture on the wall advertising breakfast. The Chick-Fil-A next door was the lifesaver there. A star for the accurate description, a star for the staff and a star for the cleanliness. That's as far as I can go though. It could have been worse, but even a decent mattress would have made it a lot better. My digital key was not delivered prior to my arrival either so I had to wait for that at the counter.

- MMMacPointManDec 15, 20252.0As far as hotels are concerned Spark is among the lowest tier of hotels within the Hilton Chain. These Spark hotels are generally rebranded from other lower tier hotels. Basically some new paint and furniture on and in an older super 8 or other like hotel chain. Breakfast is very basic at a Spark. If all you are looking for is a comfortable bed to sleep in and a hotel that is clean and safe for a reasonable price a Spark is a good option to consider.
