- BDBig DamienDec 14, 20254.0Very clean. Amenities well stocked. The attendants for the continental breakfast were very friendly, attentive and communicative. They need a raise!! There are negatives that couldn't be helped. Building not solidly constructed. You can hear every vehicle that passes by on US-19. Floor groans excessively when you walk down the hall. Doors have to be slammed to close properly. And almost every time I walked past the desk, someone was having an issue with their reservation.

However the reason for the review is I specifically selected this hotel because it had an indoor pool for my kids to swim some energy out from the trip. The pool is open and indoor and NOT HEATED. Pool temp was approximately 74 degrees (taken by Apple Watch). The stay time for a person in 74 degree water is approximately 30 minutes before becoming hypothermic significantly increasing risk of drowning. So DO NOT pick this hotel if a pool is an important amenity.

The regional manager, Douglas, made the booking portion (which is typically a small headache), extremely easy and quick! When we checked in, Raymond was fantastic - likely the most smooth and efficient check in process I've had with my group of 40+. With a very pleasant conversation to match! O'Daylis was definitely the most helpful breakfast attendant I've had at an hotel, made sure the entirety of my group got and had what they needed, myself included, and was even familiar with our drive back home and offered a few awesome sites/places to pit stop on the way back! Will definitely stay here again in the future, and will recommend to my colleagues that travel this way!
