  A mixed bag. The rooms are spacious with lots of cabinet top space for suitcases, something missing at many hotels. Plentiful high quality linens. The shower was powerful and plenty hot. On the other hand, there was excessive noise from other guests, with thumping, banging, and slamming beginning at 3:30 AM. We would not choose this property again because of the noise issue. Some wear and tear is apparent. The interior spaces have a dark feeling; they would benefit from modernized lighting. 4 stars is generous.

  If you are used to Marriott service and stay, just stick with Marriott. The desk staff was very reserved and unwelcoming. Pros- the breakfast staff was very nice, and the area was clean. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the location was convenient. Reality- Showering in our room was freezing. Secondly/ we wanted to give the kids an indoor pool as a way to get energy out; but, the water was so incredibly cold, also the pool hours are 10 AM- 10PM with strict adherence. Entering the unlocked pool area at 9:50 AM set off personal internal alarms with the staff. If the pool door is unlocked with a room key at any hour, then handle the situation differently. What a world we lived in 15- 20 years ago when we actually didn’t have the exact minute attached to us. Perhaps grace should be given since there were no clocks on the wall and the door opened. With check out at 11 am- 9 am to 9 pm would be more sensible swim hours for everyone Holiday Inn Thomasville. Lastly, Holiday Inn Thomassville- save your rebuttable apology. I think the manager realized mid way in repromanding us the the time and realized how ridiculous and unaccomodating she sounded because if safety was an issue the door would have been locked and the water would be warm. ✌️

  Very clean. Amenities well stocked. The attendants for the continental breakfast were very friendly, attentive and communicative. They need a raise!! There are negatives that couldn't be helped. Building not solidly constructed. You can hear every vehicle that passes by on US-19. Floor groans excessively when you walk down the hall. Doors have to be slammed to close properly. And almost every time I walked past the desk, someone was having an issue with their reservation.
