    This is one of the worst Best Westerns I have ever came to . I went to this hotel valentine day weekend to stay one night & I have been regretting it ever since . When I first arrived to check in my room the front desk service was horrible. No seriousness or professionalism what so ever . The front desk representative was dancing , saying inappropriate things about the customer behind me looking at my “butt” which made me feel really uncomfortable a lot of loud talking about jokes and in the mist of all that they sent us to a room someone was already in . After going back to the lobby to tell them we had the wrong room obviously they didn’t know what rooms they had given out and what rooms were open. They finally got us in a room on the 3rd floor which smelt like smoke , still residue from someone previously that had used the restroom and half cleaned tub. Good thing I don’t leave the house without my own cleaning supplies or Lysol . After all of this we have yet to receive a refund , my card has been charged another 54.48 cents since then and another 206.78 from them claiming to have resolved the problem but instead took more money off my card. Still no refund nor deposit and today’s date is 2/27/26. I will never be scammed like this again !!!! I am still waiting on my refund this is ridiculous.

    The room I originally checked in to was messy. The second room the tub wouldn't drain. The staff could barely do administrative functions. Most the staff were cool. But the job may not be for them

    Actually had a wonderful stay here....i was in town just before Valentines day for work....its a great location lots of resturants and stores with in about two miles.... One of the managers names was Shanta (?) She was a great credit to this best western...there was a small bit of confusion when we checked in....due to being booked up for valentines day...but it wasnt that big of a deal..it was entirely solved in less than 2 minutes...anyway Shanita was kind - warm- and welcoming...the young lady at gge front desk was wonderfil as well....everytime we left and came back ..we were greeted with a hello.... Any way...we got in our room ..it was very clean and inviting...it smelled clean and the air conditioning and heater worked well..the bed was very comfortable. .and plenty of hot water....we were in town for work..so we spent alot of tine in our room when we were not at work..sp we really needed a great place to stay....i In the morning hours there was a complimentary breakfast...with waffles. Sausage...juice...bagels...my favorite. Yougart and granola with oatmeal....so tasty and delicious....and the lady in charge of the breakfast....wow....her name was tameka....i dont know how she was able to get up every morning and make the biscuts..sausage...gravy...grits ..turkey links. And still be pretty..chipper...happy...and greet every patron with a cup full of happiness to get your day started I really really reccomend this wonderful motel if you need to stay near the northside perimeter....it feels clean...it feels safe....it feels healthy..... after your there ...it feels like family... We will be back most definitely in May.

    Their front desk staff Kayla was so very helpful, compassionate and patient. Hotel was not what we expected but she did everything in her power to assist with the cancellation. I appreciate her efforts more than she can realize.

    Despite having to take my family to GA from NC for a funeral, everyone was in good spirits. But then we arrived at what we thought was a Best Western. My wife booked 3 rooms, all we're on the same floor. We were excited to get some much needed rest after shopping at the Cumberland mall. The lobby was clean, just about what you'd expect from a Best Western, we frequently stay at BW hotels. Its one of our "go to's". Everything was fine until we reached the elevator. We had to press the down button to go up to the 2nd floor, my wife and I's room was not done, it was about 6pm. Our kids room smelled heavily of black and mild smoke, my mother-in-law dealt with no hot water and a stopped up toilet ( 2 days, we stayed for 2 days). After room was finally cleaned, we were welcomed with the sound of a chirping smoke alarm (maintenance did change the battery out). it began to get chilly so we go to turn the heater on, it stayed a crisp 60 degrees as the maintenance (it may have been colder because the control panel read "ERR") was unable to fix it. They gave us a small space heater and made 0 further attempts to have someone come and fix it. The pics display a smudge on the wall unnoticed by housekeeping and completely unidentifiable, the base of the tub not cleaned, a smudge left in the sink, a bed frame that is a hazard should anyone run into the metal piece that is sticking out, the hole in the wall due to there being nothing to stop the doorknob from running into the wall, dead water bugs in the hallway, cigarette burns on the blanket, water on the floor w/no "wet floor" sign in the hallway leading to the Willy Wonka type elevator that took you up ways, down ways and slant ways. What is not pictured is a water damaged ceiling in the hallway so much so that the ceiling was in its peeling pbase and phones that did not work to call the front desk, you could hear everything from the next room through the wall as well as in the hallway. Someone was banging on someone's door begging to be let in... Even in some of the most dreary of circumstances I try to find the silver lining. There was none to be found. We booked through Expedia and they contacted the front desk and told them to move us to a different room, they were booked up with a team of cheerleaders. No slight against them. We were stuck between a rock and a hard place because even with all of these issues we would not have been able to go to another hotel so we endured everything that was thrown at us. My wife called Corporate and told them that they shouldn't even be associated with this particular location, not until they work out the problems that they are facing. Apparently this location was a Red Roof Inn and was taken over by BW. The housekeeping staff, I'd say just retrain them so they don't overlook anything and give maintenance the tools they need to do their jobs as well. I doubt that we'll stop going to BW hotels because we know their standards but had this been our first experience it would be the complete opposite.
