The first id like to mention is charging $45/night for valet parking of hotel guests. With the little to no parking as is, the value is overpriced, with as much as we are paying for a room. Again, the room was beautiful. We woke up early Saturday and hit the town, no issues. Sunday we decided we'd sleep in, take our time getting ready, before check out. Unfortunately we were unable to sleep in and scurried to check out due to the amount of huge palmetto bugs crawling throughout our room. It was absolutely terrifying. Upon notating to the front desk of the issues, the response we received was "well we exterminate every month." While I do understand the actions are being taken to reduce creatures, their response wasn't settling. Therefore, we will not be returning to Cotton Sail on our next trip to Savannah.

I originally booked a room at this hotel because I could get a Riverfront room that was about half the price of other hotels on the river. I read other reviews, and saw that the rooms don't have refrigerators so we made sure to bring a Yeti cooler that worked wonderfully. The rooms are a little small but well appointment. The location is great! The Staff was amazing! I loved that I received texts everyday inquiring about our stay. My husband and I will definitely stay here again.

That is what we experienced. Then a note the 4th day stuck in our door jam saying there would be NO hot water or no water at all the following day 9-5. This building is old and historic, but really not Hilton standards.
