Nice hotel with great location — a few small misses. Our stay in Savannah and at The Bluff Hotel in Savannah was a last-minute choice and specifically after our usual suites weren’t available, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is modern, and in a great location — close to the river, shops, and restaurants. We appreciated the convenience of self-parking and how easy it was to get in and out of the city. The rate was also very reasonable for the area. The room was decent and the bathroom was recently cleaned but the sofa fabric could use a good cleaning as well as the walls (they had some stains and spots). The products were great and the Nespresso machine was a great bonus! There were a couple of drawbacks. The hotel doesn’t have an on-site fitness center or pool, which was disappointing since I like to work out while traveling. They do offer a day pass to a local gym, which is a helpful alternative, but I prefer the convenience of on-site options. The other issue was with the robe I requested — it had visible stains that should have been caught before being delivered. It was a small detail but noticeable enough to mention. Overall, The Bluff is a nice hotel in a great spot with good value. Despite a few misses, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning for an overnight visit.

Overall decent experience. Would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Nothing outstanding but definitely not a dump. Pros: *Free WiFi as a guest *Hot showers *Comfy beds *Shuttle service available but did not use it Cons: *$25 parking fee- if you can find street parking do this. The mobile app ParkSavannah should show you where the parking zones are and weekend parking is free if you can find a spot. *Pretty expensive breakfast ($17/adult & $10/kids for the hot continental breakfast and muffin bar is $15/adult & $8/kids. *No pool or fitness center Cleanliness: Ok-ish. There were rusted water drip lines from the overhead in-room sprinklers. The ceilings on our first floor room are very high so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Just annoying. Bathrooms clean but they could have cleaned the shower head with some CLR and a brush. Either hard water scaling or mold. WiFi: A Hilton employee at another hotel said that when guests book directly through Hilton guests receive a VIP WiFi code. I got this several times in the past but this was not offered to me here. Unsure if this hotel doesn’t do that or what. I asked and they didn’t give me the code for faster internet. Service: I did the online check in but wasn’t given a digital room key and had check in at the front desk. It was around 8pm on a Saturday and I had to wait a few minutes before someone noticed me. The front desk was professional but not very friendly.
