- BPBill Perry3 days ago4.0The only reason that this was rated a 4 star versus a 5 star rating is because while it is a Hilton, it is not new, rather a refurbished hotel. The room and the hallways and lobby are very clean. However, there was no comfortable chair or a couch un the room, meaning if you are in the room, you have to lay in the bed to watch TV. The location is great as far as convenience, right off the interstate 95, however, it is facing another hotel that shares the same parking lot, with little green space for your dog. It should be noted that this hotel was spotless and friendly front lobby staff.

After my husband checked the rate and availability, and brought my kids in to get the room, suddenly the guy at the front desk refused us a room. My son was excited about the Christmas decorations, and behaving like a kid who’s been riding in a car for hours. At other Hilton hotels they have been great with talking to my kids. This guy was so rude, I don’t even know why he is in the hospitality industry. My son has special needs and I pray this doesn’t happen to any parent ever again. If you have children stay away.

We asked if any rooms were available and Monty brought us up to a newly renovated room and had me check that it was clean to our liking before checking us in. I've never had anyone do that, and I found it incredibly considerate. Shortly after checking in he texted us to see how everything was. We were very impressed by how comfortable the beds, linens, and pillows were! We left before breakfast, but we appreciated the 24/7 coffee station!

The hotel is dog-friendly, feels safe, and has plenty of parking available. Monty at the front desk was incredibly helpful, suggesting a room that might be a better fit for two people and two dogs. This is our second stay, and we will make this our permanent half-way stop in the future!
