  My Husband was there for work and the first night I came down there was roaches in the bed and I get it Savannah but not reason for bugs .Also we was having bad weather in our area and my husband came home he had left his clothes and food in the room from bread , ham, chips,,mayo ,pickles,dip,strawberries,cucumbers,cokes,mello yellow and they stole it all and move his clothes in a bag what the heck .He did not check out he still had the key to get in the room. I wonder what they did with the food and why they did what they did???? No respect for people stuff at all!Will never stay here again! They steal from others with no remorse…Also ask them to clean the makeup near the mirror and they never did it the room wasn’t clean the tub was nasty and where there soap is was black with mold he and I both have had a sinus infection since then and I have had my asthma act up the whole next week the hot water wasn’t working either.. so sad people don’t take care of their stuff I will be calling costumer service because we are HGI platinum members.

  Nice for a holiday inn. Although, no hot water, no water pressure, and the water smelled.

  During our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Savannah – Midtown, we experienced a serious security incident that has left us deeply disappointed. On December 14, shortly after checking out, we realized that a wallet had been left on the bed in our room. We returned to the hotel immediately. By that time, the room had already been accessed for housekeeping. The wallet was recovered; however, $5,000 USD in cash that had been inside was missing. We reported the issue to the front desk and hotel management immediately. Unfortunately, the response was extremely concerning. The hotel did not conduct a meaningful investigation, did not provide documentation or security information, and the front desk was unresponsive and unhelpful. Housekeeping staff stated that they had not seen the wallet or the cash. Due to the lack of action by the hotel, we contacted the police and filed an official police report. Regardless of the cause, this incident reveals serious shortcomings in guest property security and incident handling procedures at this location. Guests should be aware that valuables left in the room may not be adequately protected. Update: Based on how this situation was handled, we have decided not to continue booking IHG properties in the future. Trust and guest safety are fundamental, and this experience has caused us to lose confidence in the IHG brand. We cannot recommend this property and strongly advise future guests to exercise caution or consider alternative accommodations. Clarification / Update: To clarify, the wallet has never been recovered at any point. Neither the wallet nor the $5,000 USD in cash that was inside was ever returned to us. Any statement suggesting that the wallet was recovered is factually incorrect. The wallet was last known to be inside the hotel room after checkout and after housekeeping had accessed the room.
